“Okay, I’ll take care of your work, Guk.” I smiled at her to assure her.
“Okay, thanks a lot.” She smiled guiltily at me.
She left me, and I started that room number when suddenly people began to panic, scream and run.
Everyone was shouting in horror, and I saw a man holding a gun in both hands.
“Miss, don’t move if you don’t want to get hurt.”
A handsome young policeman said to me, and he handcuffed me.
What’s happening? I didn’t do anything.
“What are you holding, huh?!” He shouted at me and got from my hands that powder.
I was feeling shocked at what was happening. Why is this policeman arresting me? And what’s really happening? Why are there police officers around the bar?
My brain process what’s happening.
“Brother! Brother! Brother Kienzo!”
“What do you need?” He puts down his phone and looks at the young boy who looks like him, walking towards his direction.
“Who’s with you?” Kienzo asked blankly. He is busy with his phone.
“Where’s brother? I didn’t see him in his office.” Kyle said and sat in front of him.
Kienzo raised his left eyebrow when he saw that he was holding a car key.
“Why did you drive Kyle? You can’t drive a car alone. You’re just thirteen years old. You don't have a driver's license.” He said firmly.
“Duh, what is the point of having siblings that are lawyers, and what’s the point of having a car if we don’t use it?” He reasoned while hiding the car’s key.
“I’ll call mom. I’m gonna tell her that you use the car.” He threatens him.
“Hey! I was joking. I'm here because I am fetching you.”
Kyle put his feet on the center table. Milk tea is with him. His favorite drink.
“I am busy,” Kienzo answered abruptly.
Kyle glared at his brother Kienzo, “why you’re always busy? Brother Enzo is the only one who visited us. You just get married. You forgot about us; besides, mom wants to see your wife. They already miss her, and you had been hiding her from us! They are expecting a grandchild from you… Mom is always talking about you, and she always scolds me too! She talks and nags a lot. I can get a woman pregnant, yet she always humiliates me!.” Kyle complained to his brother Kienzo while making a long face.
This time Kienzo raises his eyebrow, “Really? You’re following our orders and not listening to us, too, then you’re telling me that you can get a woman pregnant? I am against your love life but finish your school first. Get a degree before getting a girlfriend, Kyle.”
Kienzo advised him; that’s what he did.
Kienzo stops what he is doing and faces his young brother seriously.
Kienzo gives him a tissue when he splits some milk tea in his mouth.
“Bro, let’s go home!.” He whined.
“I’ll go home but not now,” Kienzo answered shortly and looked in different directions.
“You’re always saying not now,” Kyle complained again and drank his milk tea. He’s hoping that someday someone will sponsor him with many milk teas, just like his other brother Kenzo.
“Where’s brother Enzo? He has debts one me, one hundred dollars until now he is not paying me.” He chews the pearl loudly.
“I don’t know, Kyle. Maybe he meets a client.” He shrugged.
Kieno didn’t do his work, his little brother kept ranting on him until his career ended, and Kyle kept pursuing him to visit them.
“Bro, C’mon, say yes! It seems we’re not a. I’ll borrow you a PS4 that dad bought for me.” Kyle covered his mouth when he realized what he had spilled.
“Oops! Don’t tell mom that dad bought me a new PS4, okay? Or else the mountain will explode again.” He said while giggling. He looks happy with his new gadgets.
They are exiting the building.
“Take care going home, attorney!.” One of an employee recognizes Kienzo.
He just smiled at them as a response.
“Bye!” Kyle was the one who answered, and he gave her a flying kiss, and the employee laughed.
Kenzo stops walking and faces his little brother, “you told me that Enzo is sleeping there. Why do you want me to sleep there, huh? I’m handling a new case and can’t go today.” Kienzo explains to him.
Kyle put both hands on his waist and looked at his brother, “Enzo didn’t go home yesterday, and the devil is not there too! They both didn’t go home. I don’t have someone to play with; I got bored.” He looked pitiful and made his face sad.
“I’ll drive you home,” Kienzo said with finality. He got his car key when they were already in the parking lot of the Velasco firm, but Manong Rodger came into the scene.
“Sir.” Manong Rodger called him.
Rodger showed him a video, and Kienzo reacted while watching it; he clenched his fist.
“Manong Rodger, drive Kyle home.” He stated and furiously rode his car. What a troublemaker woman.

I am bowing my head while a mean woman asks me questions. She’s so mean asking questions. What does she think of me as an addict? I am only addicted to that boring attorney.
“One of my acquaintances gave me that, okay? I don’t know that; that was a drug. My conscience is clear, and I’m not lying,” I explain with complete patience and respect. She keeps on insisting where did I get that? And I am an addict. She can test me if she wants.
“If you want, drug test me so you will be believed.” I am confident.
“You are holding drugs, and you’re reasoning. I am used to that reason, miss.” She glared at me again and angrily released the ballpen.
She’s getting out of patience with me. She keeps on answering, and I am playing with her with my answer. She can’t dig deeper into me because I know nothing. I am innocent.
I am not the only one they get; most people with me are customers.
That bar is half illegal. Doing illegal business, maybe that’s why that bar is too huge and vast and looks exclusive.
I also called the attorney to ask for help from him.
“As you say so, wait for my attorney to come,” I said, full of pride.
“Kiki!” I called his name when I saw him talking to a police officer with a big tummy.
I came to their location, but that woman followed me and stopped me; she was so mean. Won't she have a boyfriend to coax her? She is ugly in my eyes; she looks like Dora with her small hair and color blonde, which does not suit her. Her eyebrow also looks fake, even her earrings. She looks fake. Joke!
“Let’s go,” Kienzo said, and he held me on my pulse and pulled me out of that place. He is holding me like a child. Psh!
Before I turn my back and leave that place, I look at that tiny woman with bad breath and stock out of my tongue. I told you! I have a genius and lawyer husband, an influential lawyer.
He opened his car door, and I slid in until we got home; he didn’t speak. I know he is always silent, but his silence gave me a heart attack. I am feeling nervous about his silence. The atmosphere is not good.
When he parked his yellow car, he pulled me. I was almost out of balance, and god, he caught me.
“What are you doing, woman?” He let me sit on the sofa when we entered the condo. He is in front of me.
His lip became a thin line.
“Sitting?” I answered unsurely.
“Joke.” I got back my words when he didn’t laugh at my joke. Kiki is staring at me blankly.
“What the hell are you doing there?” He asked me calmly, and his jaw clenched.
“Working?” I answered him a question.
“Can you answer seriously?” He’s earnest.
“Why are you mad? Can I see the face of mad Kienzo?.”
I’m teasing him and making fun of him.
