“Are you ready?”
Theon softly grabbed my hand for support as soon as we arrived at his home, with his brothers behind us.
I breathed in, preparing myself before hopping out of the car and going inside.
My feet were dragging me and it felt so scary. And nerve-wracking to meet the parents.
Theon decided to freshen up ourselves first and make ourselves presentable. We went through the back and I went to my room here.
When we were prepared, we returned to meetup on the second floor.
“Tsk. Why are they even here?” Matheo rolled his eyes as we walked. “They are getting old and senile.”
“Let’s just show our faces. They might have been worried about our incident…”
We went to the living room to find his father pacing around as he was talking to someone on his phone with some Italian words I don’t understand.
Her mother was very calm as she sipped on her tea and she looked up once she heard our footsteps.
“Theon. My son.” She stood up and kisses the three of them on the cheek, “Rameo, how are you, my dear? And Matheo. Stop playing stound with girls.” Her eyes glanced at me swiftly and try me smiled. “And who is this?”
“Mom, this is my girlfriend. Saphira.” Theon said, showing it to them.
I bit my lip, smiling and standing my ground.
“So you are the Uy girl…. I have a deep grudge against your father who destroyed my son’s future.” Said his father who sat down now.
That seems to tick Theon off as he clenched his jaw, “Dad, I told you not to do a background check on her!”
Theon seems angry. I held his hand to calm him. “It’s alright.”
Her mother’s eyes never left me. I felt like a specimen being scrutinized. Like a bacteria under a microscope..something disgusting...
They don’t like me. Judging from their stares.
“Mom, Dad, this is enough. We are all alive and good. We are fine.” Rameo spoke up.
“Awe, how could I not worry when I heard that my sons were lost and being searched? I almost fainted that I canceled my shows and flew here.” Their mom said melodramatically. “You are my precious stones, don’t make it hard on me. Why do you always make me worry? I am not getting any younger. All these facial treatments might be ineffective if you keep on pulling this on me.”
“What were you doing on that yacht anyway? If you didn’t attend, then things might have been alright now.”
They seem to make it like it is my fault….

“You could have not gone there and chose to stay at your office.” Their mom said, “What if we lost you there? Who would take after the company? And the pharmaceuticals?”
Theon sighed, grabbed me, and stood up, “Let's go. I know that they are only going to criticize you.”

He took me outside on a drive. On an ice cream place and mad me eat. Her phone kept on ringing and he did not answer it. Matheo called him to signal us they were gone so we went back to his home.
I was too tired so I slept for the whole day and night, trying to regain my strength while Theon was already back on his foot and working at his company.
Of course, being a CEO is hard.
Two days passed since we were rescued and when I was sure that I gained energy, I drove to Sofia using the porche car that Theon gave me.
I knew where she stays at. At father’s company.
“You knew we were stranded on that island.”
“Oh, me? What are talking about?”
I wanted to hit her but then remembered she have a baby inside her. I am at least human so I won’t risk her being that stressed.
“I planned that…”
“What?”
It took me a minute to realize she was talking about the stranded.
I pulled her hair. “Damn, you! We were there for four days, trying to survive!”
She chuckled, she looks mad. As if she had gotten insane. “What? You’re going to hurt me now that you gain power? “You're using him for money.”
“Oh, he’s handsome and has money.” I said, “And can't you love on with life? You’re getting old but your mindset is still like a child. Get a grip! Start minding your own business and live your life, bitch!” I yelled. i have to be the bigger person here because she wouldn’t back down.
I almost wanted to kill Sofia right there and then but my sanity stops me. When I was done, I saw Hardy outside as he pulled me to one of the rooms here.
“So it’s true...you agreed to be with him…” said a voice when she entered.
Lightening up the candles, she saw Harry sitting by the window, staring at her. “Harry, what are you doing here?”
He put his finger on my lips, quieting me down. “This is my wife’s company. Of course, I am here.” He then smirked, I heard you are a girlfriend of Theon now. You are doing that just to make me jealous right?”
I gasped, “Wow, you suit each other. Both insane. How did you even think of that delusional idea?”
He grabbed my hand, and looked at me softly, “wanna escape from Him?”
I reached out to him and slapped him.
“You bastard! I am done with you. You do ‘t even appeal to me a long time ago! I didn't even remember you existed! Haha, I regret that I even find you attractive because compared to Theon, you are worth nothing. You don’t even level to him!”
That seems to be a slap to him Harry. He was about to launch his hand at me when strong hands topped him.
“What are you doing to my girl?”
I smiled in relief, “Theon!” Thank goodness she arrived because I am scared of what he will do to me if we were left alone like this again. He’s getting desperate it's getting to his head.
“Try to approach my girl again and let’s see how I’ll slice those hands off.” He threatened in a low deep voice. “I will bring your company down. Just watch.”
He then turned to me, “Let’s go.”
He kissed me on the lips and then embraced me, “You’ve had enough dealing with those people. I’ll make sure they won’t even get to see a glimpse of you.”
I leaned to him, “Thank you…for not giving up on me.”
“Of course. You are Saphira. You are mine. I’ll do anything for you. Everything.” Theon reassured me.
