He snorted, “Tsk, I’m sure it would be you who won’t survive. You’ll soon give in to my charms, Ellaina.”
He then guided me to the kitchen and asked me, “Are you hungry?”
I paused, now noticing how hungry I was. I glanced at my phone to see the time almost nearing dinner. I nodded at Ajax, “Yes.”
“What do you want?” He asked patiently, waiting for my answer.
I shrugged, “I think I could eat anything now…” I paused, “Why? Do you cook?”
He then put on an apron and winked at me. I looked at the apron he was wearing, there were little cats, no, hello kitty, drawn in it and it looked tight on his arms. It must have been for a woman as it was too fitted for him that his muscles were bulging through.
“What are you looking at, princess?” He asked through my stares and I chuckled.
“The apron is too tight for you. and the hello kitty patterns.” I voiced out loud, laughing at him.
“I know I look weird but atleast I made you laugh.” He said, looking dead serious. I could see his cheeks were red but there was a small smile on his cheeks, “But damn Ellaina, If I knew that wearing this apron would have made you laugh that loud, then I should have already worn it the first time we met.”
I shook my head at him, “No, that would have been weird.” If he did, I would have already nicknamed him the hello kitty apron man. And that is not an image that suits him.
He then started to get some pans from his cupboards and turned on the stove.
I blinked, not expecting him to be serious that he would cook for me. “But I didn’t know you could cook.” I had always the impression of billionaires since most of them whom I had already dealt with do not know how to do any household chores.
They are too busy being arrogant and being served by their maids that they had become lazy and very dependable. Just like my ex-husband Noah who made me do everything in the house en though I was buried with work myself.
Ajax just smirked at me, “Baby, there are a lot of things that you still don’t know about me.” He said teasingly, “You’ll be surprised how good I am in bed-” He paused, “I mean in the kitchen.”
I shook my head at him, scoffing at his boldness but didn’t say anything as I let him in the kitchen do his thing.
He then motioned for me to go around, “Please wait babe, I’ll cook you food for tonight so you can roam around first.”
I nodded, walking away and into the living room. I tried to observe the surroundings taking in every little detail and furniture he has in his house. I wonder how much each of these pieces costs?
Looking around for a bit, and couldn’t help but feel curious about how he looks when he cooks. My eyes then unconsciously glance back at his back figure as he faced the stove. I could see his biceps flexing as it was too tight with his apron and through his plain white long-sleeved shirt.
With his tanned skin, the white color suits him. I gulped at the scenery. He looks so sexy. Despite all the teasing, he makes and naughty remarks, I couldn't deny the handsomeness he has. He beats all the greek gods with those sharp jaws. His thick eyebrows and piercing green eyes. Disheveled hair...
I suddenly couldn’t help but think how would it feel if those lips were to meet mine….
He seemed to notice my stare as he turned around, pulling me from my trance. Our eyes met and I expected him to make a sexy remark but he just flashed me a genuine smile for a second.
I stood there frozen as I notice how his eyes crinkled whenever he smile.
I couldn't help but smile back as he looked back at the pan.
It didn’t take long for him to finish as I could smell the sweet smell of food, teasing my nose.
“Here’s our food, baby.” He announced, serving it to the table. I noticed he cooked Filipino soup, sinigang, with some side dishes of vegetables. He also cooked some rice.
Looking at all of this, it looked like there was some feast happening but it was only just for the two of us. How on Earth can we finish this tonight? I am sure I would get into a food coma after this! These are all my favorites.
Gosh, if Manager Smith were to see me pigging out, he would scold me, worrying for my next day shoot.
But since after that dating scandal I have, I think I’ll have to lay low now. Speaking of Manager Smith, he wasn’t able to contact me after that call early this morning.
Good. I still don’t have any plans of talking with him and dealing with all of this. He still doesn’t know that I am here, temporarily living with Ajax.
Knowing this truth might give him a heart attack so I shouldn’t tell him about this. It’s not like I am throwing my model life away.
I guess I’ll try to see the positive side of this issue of mine. Since I get to lay low, for now, I will have the chance to rest or have my vacation.
I was amazed, but I didn’t make it obvious so that his ego won’t inflate. Instead, I stayed calm, “Oh, that smells good.”
He nodded, “Thank you, of course, I have to learn how to cook, anything for my princess.”
I just snorted at his teasing and I tried to look for the cutleries he has but he stopped me, “What are you doing?”
“I want to help you, you cooked the food, so it is natural that I help you prepare the table.”
“There’s no need for that. Just sit at the table and wait for me there.” I did as he ordered, too hungry to even argue with him.
He then opened the highest cabinet and pulled out two glass plates, with a spoon and fork, and added a wine glass. He situated them at the table next to each other, he then went back to the mini bar he had and grabbed an expensive wine.
“To top off our dinner, let’s drink this.” He stated.
As soon as he was finished preparing this, he finally sat down. He then put some rice and soup for me.
“Oh, you didn’t have to,” I said, feeling a bit shy but he still pushed. He then waited for my reaction in anticipation, as if a kid asking about his drawing his teacher.
“So?” He asked.
I took a spoonful and gulped, “So?” I repeated.
“How is it? How does my cooking taste for you?” He asked, eyes still shining in anticipation.
I pouted, trying to savor it for a bit, and nodded, “It’s good.” I then gulped down the wine he served.
He raised his eyebrows, “Good? Just good??” He looked like he was not satisfied with my answer.
“It tastes good. Just up to my liking.” I added and that instantly put a smile on his face. He brightened up. I then gulped down the remaining wine and went to refill my cup but he stopped me, “Whoa, slow down babe. You have all night to drink that…are you alright?”
I smiled sadly, “I just want to temporarily forget what happened…”
I was stopped as I felt his hands grab my neck pulling me closer to him. He then kissed my neck, nibbled on my ear, and kissed my collarbone as his hands traveled on my chest and onto my waist.
It reached down to the area between my thighs and he breathed out, “You like this?”
I couldn’t make myself answer, feeling hazy at his touch and he continued.
“I’ll count to three and will let you leave my kitchen.”
“I’ll start counting now. One…two..”
He didn’t have to finish as I instantly slammed my lips on him, pulling him in shock. He instantly recovered and smirked, “I’ve been stopping myself for days now, Ellaina. I want to lick you and touch you in even more places.”
