“The person whose location you requested has been found.” The IT consultant said tapping the laptop’s screen.
“Okay, so where is he?” the young man, probably in his early twenties said biting into an apple with his legs crossed on a coffee table sitting in the middle of the room.
“He’s in Abuja, Nigeria, Kuje to be precise. He has a wife and a fourteen year old daughter. He’s a retired soldier who’s presently into business while his wife is a fashion designer. Their daughter attends a school in Kuje, Aflon Digital Academy. She has a best friend named Fatima Abba Sulayman, you can follow them on Instagram to see their pictures but for now can you make do with this ones?” the IT consultant explained zooming on the picture of a family of three and another picture of two young girls. The young man looked at the picture then smirked.
“ Ryan! Ryan!” he shouted his butler’s name and a man in his late thirties scurried into the study.
“Get me and my sister’s clothes ready and call Abdullah here. We’ll be paying a visit to a special somebody.” He said, a smirk marring his face as he throws the apple up then catching it before biting into it again.
“Okay sir”, the butler replied then left. An hour later, a young man in his late thirties appeared all clad in a black suit and white button up shirt underneath the suit. He has tanned skin and slits for eyes.
“You called for me.”
“Yes, I found him and I’m going to Nigeria with her, take care of everything here before I come back, it might take a while before I come back.”
“okay sir.”
Fatima’s POV
“you better get the hell out of here!!” Halima snapped at Alex. He immediately left the biology lab knowing that he had triggered Halli’s anger and also knowing fully well that her anger is quite bad. He and even I had been victims of Halli’s anger.
He was busy calling us lesbians for being in the biology lab alone together. Can you believe how dumb boys can be?
We continued writing our notes and listening to Seniorita by Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes. When we finished our notes, we switched off our biology teacher’s phone, plugged it to charge since it was about to die, then left the lab.
On our way back we saw our biology teacher, Mr Micheal.
“Good afternoon Sir.” We greeted him simultaneously, ducking our heads low in respect.
“Afternoon. Did you plug the phone to charge like I asked you to?” he inquired in his thick Scottish accent.
“Yes sir.”
“Good, your form master has decided to use the free period, he’s taking the Geography students as we speak. “
“Okay Sir, thank you. But we’re not Geography students.” Halli answered for us looking up a bit.
“okay since you’re free right now come and help me take some books to Jss3 diamond.” He said walking in the direction of his office, the biology lab.
We followed him, laughing lowly at his baggy trousers. Mr Micheal was a fair tall slim Scottish man. He had a sharp jaw and a long beard Juniors liked to pull. He was quite friendly with students compared to all the other teachers we had in Aflon.
Once we had reached his office he gave us the notes and we collected them. We took them to Jss3 diamond. We strolled back to our class, chatting along the way. We both sat at our various seats. Yes, we both sat in different seats. Halli always sat in the middle row, third seat.
I on the other hand, always sat at the back of the first tow from the left. Not long after, the Geography teacher, Mr Chinonso, a fair tall muscular Igbo man in his late thirties, left.
I opened our gulma notebook that had THE IMAS PROPERTY, DO NOT TOUCH inscribed boldly on it in black ink and scribbled ‘I need your chemistry notebook’ and passed it to Halli.
Yes, we called ourselves IMAS. This was because we both had IMA ending our names. Stupid, yes I know but we did it anyways.
