Unless Vlad pushed the bloodline’s power higher than his Depravita Racial Heritage, the bloodline would not impact his physical might, as both worked under the same principles. However, he could still obtain Bloodline Abilities, so it is wise to focus on it.
Although the screen showed ’I Am Wrath,’ it did not reveal a difference in his race. Vlad took it as Terra still seeing him as human. That was good; if he changed too much, he might lose access to the Origin Force.

While Vlad had no idea what Level his Gift was, he still remembered Oliver’s Silver Skin. That ability was designed for Warriors, and it could grant the physical defenses of a Level 6 to Level 1 Oliver for a determined amount of time.
Asmael knew all that and was extremely envious of the human since he himself did not have a Gift. Had Oliver taken the Warrior Path, he could have been on the front line, but the angel broke that due to his greed and petty personality.
