Captain Doofus' new species talent seemed to be related to domains.
Domains varied widely on the inside, but from the outside, they all just looked like huge spherical barriers. Although they appeared simple, they were the hallmark of Blue Planet powerhouses.
Many of the crowd gawked at the sight.
It was completely incomprehensible for a level 30 husky to be able to use a domain. That was something previously exclusive to the upper echelons of the first generation.
"Yes, I have seen first generations use it before. This is a domain!"
"Yes, and judging from the size, it’s pretty powerful too."
"From what I know, this is the first time a familiar activated a domain at level 30."

A lot of people felt like clowns at the moment. They didn't expect Lu Ran's gamble to actually pay off.
Since Captain Doofus was able to comprehend a domain, the Absolute Comprehension trait was absolutely the right decision. Captain Doofus definitely met the threshold of being a top familiar.
A domain was a trump card that allowed it to bridge species ranks.
"No, this wasn’t because of the trait," said a bulky young man standing on a level 50 dragon. "It's impossible to open a domain so perfectly if it only learned it just now."

Many beastmasters were shocked to recognize the man standing on the dragon. He was an alliance master amongst the few others who had also mastered a domain.
His analysis elicited a major reaction from the surrounding reporters.
How could it comprehend a domain before evolving? That’s even crazier than comprehending one during evolution!
A Wind-attribute, Superior-Champion husky shouldn’t have any advantages in comprehending a domain.
If they hadn't seen it with their own eyes and had verification from a first-generation beastmaster, the reporters would’ve never believed it.
Even the Xia beastmasters like Shi Zhen looked at each other in disbelief.
"Wait, they mastered it after only watching me demonstrate it a couple of times?" Shi Zhen exclaimed.
"It has to be fake! It doesn't make sense." Lin Nian stared at the domain intensely.
She flew up over the domain to get a better look but couldn’t see anything through the barrier.
Breaking a domain from the outside was several times harder than doing so from the inside. Although Lin Nian had the ability to do so, she didn’t. Instead, she chose to protect Lu Ran from any outside interference.
Within the domain, Lu Ran’s didn’t expect Captain Doofus to instinctively release it during its evolution.
This meant that Captain Doofus' evolution had something to do with domains! Just like how Dark Crow split into two during its evolution, this was definitely an indicator of its new species talent.
The key issue was that the current domain Captain Doofus utilized was a bit different from the one he was familiar with.
It wasn’t the usual Blizzard Sword Domain. Lu Ran and his familiars stood in a completely white space. There was nothing around except emptiness.
Everyone turned to look at Captain Doofus who was wrapped in evolutionary energy. They had no idea what to expect.
The crowd outside wasn’t even interested in the appearance of Overlords. The appearance of a freak that mastered a domain before evolving, and was now in the process of doing so was a much bigger and attention-grabbing story.
"I was wrong. I assumed that Lu Ran's first familiar wasn’t as good as the other two, but it was actually the most powerful. It’s the only one to master a domain at level 30!"
"I know that this husky learned the four main energy usages by level 10, and advanced skills like intent formation by level 20. That was impressive, but not unheard of. Comprehending a domain at level 30, though, is unimaginable.
"The difficulty of comprehending a domain is in a category of its own."
No one questioned Lu Ran’s choice of traits anymore. They were keenly focused on what the husky would evolve into. It didn’t matter who else received the Stellar Blessings.
As expected, nine spots quickly filled up and Lu Ran was left with first place. The sky filled with stars, and a sword-shaped constellation shined especially bright—as if it was piercing the sky.
"It's over. I made a miscalculation."
White Mouse couldn’t stop trembling as she looked at the dazzling starlight. She was full of regret for underestimating Lu Ran.
Lu Ran was a breaking news generator. How could someone like him mess up an evolution?
The crowd was anxious to see the results but the domain continued to block their view. He was also guarded by a crazy murderer so no one dared to do anything.
Inside the domain, Captain Doofus finally completed its evolution.
As the light faded, its majestic new form appeared.
Its body became even bigger, Lu Ran only coming up to its shoulder height now. Every part of its huge body brimmed with terrifying power.
Unlike its previous husky form, Captain Doofus now had long and silky white fur across most of its body. It no longer had any black fur at all. Parts of its fur also became dark blue fur, like the color of thick ice.
The white and blue pattern made it look like some lonely wolf king that wandered the tundras, oppressing all local wildlife.
Its long fur was like the snowy peaks of mountains, and a sword-like crown on its head made it look even more awe-inspiring.
When Captain Doofus roared, Lu Ran suddenly realized that the Winter Sword Spirit had separated from it and was happily dancing around it. It flashed with an icy blue light as if to celebrate the birth of the Sword King!
It looked like the sword spirit and Captain Doofus didn’t benefit each other that much during the evolution.
Lu Ran was a bit disappointed but there was something that made him feel even worse. Although Captain Doofus looked handsome and majestic, the look in its eyes hadn’t changed. The derpy looking gaze completely ruined its image.
However, Lu Ran’s mood quickly turned around.
His familiars watched Lu Ran take out and clutch the Divine Deer pendant as he laughed maniacally.
Lu Ran's eyes began to water from all the laughter. He was so excited that he couldn't hold it back. It was to the point of being ecstatic.
Sudden Death King and Dark Crow shivered, realizing that something was wrong. Captain Doofus must’ve awakened a new species talent!

It was a domain that could transform anything into a sword. It was the actualization of the concept “I think therefore I am”!
Captain Doofus turned to look at the Divine Deer pendant Lu Ran was holding. In an instant, invisible energy wrapped around the necklace and it became the core of an invisible sword that was shaped like a deer antler.
The Epic-grade sword containing a terrifying aura was born and flew into Captain Doofus’ mouth.
Captain Doofus was finally able to visualize the pendant as a sword. Its species rank shot up and neared the boundary of reaching Legendary.
Outside the domain, the onlookers’ eyes widened when they felt a frightening and deterring presence radiate out of the domain.
It was the fluctuation of a god-like sword intent that even some first-generation familiars who were experienced fighting with Superior Overlords feared. They trembled as they imagined what kind of monster was within that domain.
