There were many ways to test Bedrock's capabilities, and quite frankly, doing it in the training room would have been smarter due to the various things one could do in there, like spawn in measuring devices.
However, there was another way that was a lot more interesting.
Making Gale and Bedrock spar.
Osho stood near the edge of the habitat while Gale and Bedrock could be seen a few miles away. Osho could see so far by enhancing his vision with Mana.
He had his tablet out as he intended to document things he deemed to be interesting.
Gale hovered above the ground a few dozen meters away from Bedrock who simply stood there, and Osho nodded to himself as he spoke through the bonds.
They were on a separate plateau to avoid accidentally putting Osho in the crossfire.
'You guys ready?' He asked, and he got two affirmative answers.
'Alright. Begin in 3... 2...' He watched as the two beasts tensed, and he finished the countdown.
A loud explosion was heard as Gale accelerated instantly and smashed his beak into Bedrock in less than a second.
The force was obscene, and the small primate was blasted back for over a hundred meters until he smashed into a large boulder with enough force to completely decimate its outer layer, sending rocks and debris flying all over the place.
Gale didn't stop there, though, as with a flap of his wings, several thin tornadoes formed from the ground and arched towards where Bedrock was like tentacles.
They struck, stirring up dust and shredding the surrounding area as the wind wasn't simply fast but incredibly sharp.
It seemed to be overkill, especially considering that Bedrock was only a few days old with little time to properly get the hang of what he could do.
Despite this, though, Osho didn't stop the fight, nor did he look bothered.
Suddenly, torrents of earth erupted from the ground beneath Gale and aimed to encase him, but Gale was simply too fast as he evaded them with ease, and whenever one got too close, a quick wind blade sliced it apart.
Still, it was enough to remove the pressure from Bedrock for a bit, and the dust surrounding him cleared to reveal his figure.
'Hm. His defense is higher than I had initially anticipated.' Osho thought with a faint smile as he inspected Bedrock.
If before he looked like he was wearing some armor due to the ores he had ingested, he was definitely doing it now.
Ores and metals swam across his body like liquid as they formed a set of heavy, full-body armor all over his body.
It looked a bit crude, which wasn't surprising as Bedrock hadn't seen a lot of armor in his short lifespan. However, it still served its purpose.
There also weren't any openings in its surface except a small slit where his eyes were, which would make his mobility questionable. However, Bedrock seemed entirely capable of making the rigid materials that made it up flexible enough to move comfortably.
In its center, there was a bit of a deformity where Gale had struck with the initial attack, but it was rapidly mending itself.
Osho wrote all of this down as the two creatures faced off, with Gale staring down at Bedrock with the sky at his back, and Bedrock staring up at Gale with the earth beneath his feet. It was a bit poetic in a way, seeing the two opposites face off .
However, the standoff didn't last long as Gale flapped his four wings, and dozens of extremely sharp windblades manifested and rained down on Bedrock at absurd speeds.
Bedrock held his arms above his head while controlling the surrounding earth to surge outwards towards Gale. However, the wind blades proved to be too powerful as the earth was sliced through, and Bedrock was showered by wind blades which stirred up more dust.
Gale wasn't done, though, as this dust suddenly started to rotate due to another tornado spawning there with Bedrock at the center.
With a loud cry, the tornado shrank, but it also spun faster with the sharp wind condensing, and through the roar of it, Osho could vaguely hear metallic clangs as the wind blades tried to eat at Bedrock's armor.
Despite this, though, Osho felt nothing but calm through his bond with Bedrock. Despite the dire situation, he seemed almost unbothered by the whole thing.
Which only made Osho even more interested in what he could do.
Luckily, he didn't have to wait long.
A loud crack was heard, almost like someone had unleashed a powerful explosion, and a crack ran down the center of the plateau the beasts fought on as two halves of the upper part of it were raised, aiming to smash Gale between them.
Osho was surprised at this.
'That's an absurd amount of Mana to use at such an early stage in this fight. Bedrock doesn't have a domain like Gale, so how does he...!' Osho's thoughts trailed off as he used his Mana sense, and what he saw surprised him even more.
From where Bedrock stood, a massive amount of earth Mana seemed to be waiting for him, and whenever he used any, it readily went into his body to replenish what he lost, which caused understanding to dawn on Osho's face.
'He doesn't have a domain. As long as there is earth around him, it doesn't matter.' Osho thought with both realization and amazement.
If that was the case, then as long as there was enough earth around Bedrock, his supply of Mana would stay consistent. Moreover, looking at him with his Mana sense, Osho realized that the armor wasn't so simple.
He couldn't tell what it was per se, but whatever it was, it was special.
As the two chunks of earth closed in on Gale, the bird didn't panic. Instead, his four wings almost seemed to vibrate as a faint sheen covered his four wings, and a smell reminiscent of burning wires entered Osho's nose.
'Is that...?' Osho smirked as Gale used a familiar move.
Just as he was about to be crushed, four flashes of ionized air shot out incredibly fast, and a moment later, the chunks of earth were sliced apart as Gale was unharmed.
However, Bedrock had moved from his position and was now on one of the sliced chunks, just a few dozen meters away from Gale with his hands clasped together.
The surrounding earth suddenly started to converge, surrounding Gale and aiming to trap him.
Gale was not perturbed.
A bubble of wind appeared around him, spinning at incredible speeds as the rocks impacted it, trying and failing to break through.
Bedrock wasn't discouraged, though, as he summoned more earth to create a large spear, aiming to break through the bubble in one go.
The spear shot forward like a bullet and smashed into the bubble. The force made it flicker slightly as its integrity started to unravel, and the clear progressed more and more.
It looked like it was about to succeed, but the Osho saw something, a faint flash through all the debris, and his Mana sense saw a large buildup of Mana at the depths of everything.
'Oh no.' Osho blinked as his hair stood on end, and a moment later...
There was a flash, and in the next instant, Bedrock was sent flying across the habitat like a ragdoll, his entire body covered in thick black smoke as he smashed through several boulders and bounced off multiple cliff faces before getting embedded in the side of one such cliff face.
Rock fragments fell from the point of impact, and Osho stared with a bit of shock at the result.
A large chunk of Bedrock's armor had gotten blown away, revealing his slightly charred, but somewhat unharmed fur and skin beneath.
He was conscious, but definitely dazed as the force from Gale's attack had been something else.
Osho looked back at Gale who still hovered with his wings outstretched. In front of him, a thick dark mist could be seen with residual blue flashes within.
'He created a small thundercloud to fire a lightning bolt at Bedrock. And it wasn't a simple lightning bolt either, that thing burned straight through the earth Affinity Mana.' Osho thought with both surprise and amazement.

Hence, Gale creating a thundercloud to blast Bedrock away with lightning wasn't something that was out of the equation. However, Gale had never done it before, so seeing the power behind it was something else.
'And the fact Bedrock took it head-on with light injuries is incredible. He's only at the Novice rank. But I'm willing to bet that thing would have instantly fried an Apprentice rank Beast and seriously injured, if not outright killed at Adept rank Beast.' Osho thought and smiled.
He looked at Gale whose smugness could be felt from where he was. The bird was a powerhouse, no doubt about it.
He'd proven that as the senior, he was still better.
Osho shook his head as Bedrock started to extricate himself from the cliff side.
'I look forward to what you can do in the future.' He thought with excitement.
