Lucius was now looking at both beasts that he planned to fuse but suddenly he stopped as he just realized something. "Wait. There's something I've overlooked."
Lucius then thought about the temporary hacks and said, "Those hacks that I used before, like stamina boosts, libido enhancement, instant healing for the Lava Tortoise and the confidence gainer for Magnus."
Lucius then turned to the system and asked it, "Do they also affect beast essence, or do they only use some kind of energy?"

Lucius, who had just looked at the system, began to smirk as he began to understand how it worked. "I see, so that is how you work."
Lucius then began to smirk as he explained to himself, "Temporary hacks are like borrowed power. Hack points are used to provide the power, and the beast's own energy ensures their stability once the temporary hack ends."
Lyucius then smiled. "It is really interesting. Now, I really understand what the system can do. As long as your beast and its essence are powerful enough, you can do anything."
Lucius then thought about the temporary hacks that he gave to Magnus and Lava Tortoise earlier, which were instant heals after every battle and confidence gainers for every win.
Lucius then smirked as he ignored it, "I am sure that they will be fine as both of them were already 3-Stars, and also the hack only lasts for the day."
Lucius then turned his attention back toward the two white beasts. Although both of them were larger and stronger than before, they were still the timid white beasts.
He was amused by their same personalities. Lucius then turned to the system and said, "Let's fuse the two beasts. Let's see what will happen when two beasts are fused."

Both of the beasts then began to glow as the system initiated the fusion process. Both beasts let out low growls but it was stopped as they were glowing completely.
Their glowing forms then began to go to each other as they began to merge into one body. There were no cries of pain and only silence in the process.
For five minutes, Lucius stood motionless as he observed the fusion process and finally, the glow began to fade. The two beasts had now been replaced by a single beast.
The new beast was the same as before, as it had a huge rat body and tough muscles but it also had both characteristics of tiger claws and the horn.
Lucius then began to walk toward it and scan it with his system, "Let's see if your stats had changed from the fusion."

Lucius raised an eyebrow as he said, "So fusing had made your stats balance like evolution does, but still, you're nothing more than a slightly improved version of what you were."
He also began to point at its characteristics: "Your appearance is also uninspiring. A horn here, claws there. It's functional, but hardly... imposing; instead, it is weird."
He then turned toward the system again and requested another hack: "This time change its species. Transform it into a White Horned Tiger."

Lucius was frowning after seeing the cost: "It was quite expensive, as it is ten times the cost of fusion or evolution."
Lucius then came to the conclusion why the cost was high: "Perhaps it's because transformation isn't as simple as fusing existing attributes or following a predetermined evolution path."
He then frowned again as he contemplated it. "If it costs this much to change one white beast into another species that is quite similar in body structure, then..."
Lucius began to shudder after thinking more about it: "Just how much will it cost to turn something like a dog into a shark? These hacks were also still on 1-Star Beast."
Lucius then immediately looked at the white beast and turned toward the system. "System, you can start the transformation now."
The system then reduced the required points as usual. The beast began to be covered with a white glow as its structure began to change.
Lucius stood silently as he watched the beast that began to change more into the structure of a tiger. He was quite interested as he watched it.
Soon the glow faded and the newly transformed beast appeared. Lucius then began to scan it to see if there were some changes.

Lucius sighed after seeing the stats, as he was quite disappointed. "The stats are unchanged. I have expected it but still, it was quite disappointing."
Lucius then looked at the White Horned Tiger and said, "You have gained nothing from this transformation except a new name and a more refined appearance."
Lucius then stepped back a little and said, "I think I will not use this kind of hack again as it was too expensive. Evolution and fusion are for cheaper and more efficient."
Lucius then turned toward the system again. "I have really done a lot of experiments and now I know that you can hack everything from a beast."
Lucius also said, "I also haven't tested if you can grant elements to a beast but I think you can do it too if you can transform a beast into a different beast."
Lucius then suddenly remembered the other White Beasts he had stored in his Eternal Vault. He began to smirk as a new idea suddenly appeared in his mind.
He immediately took the eight beast rings out of the system's vault. "Let's see what happens if I do it." Lucius smirked as he thought about his next experiment.
