Licius stood and paced back and forward. "I knew the Beastman paths were varied, but to think their evolution could lead them to be humans. The ones with talents even."
Lucius turned back to the system. He scanned the human evolution options. He saw the level of talent he could give to the human.
He smirked. "Interesting. So this is the tier of beast-taming talent in this world."
He looked at the cost beside the strongest talent, the Goddess Talent and frowned. "It was so expensive. It seems that the system counts the price for the 3-Star one and the 6-Star one."
Lucius then tilted his head as he thought something. "But still, what exactly does it mean? I and Luna had God-level talent but I haven't sensed the difference at all."
Lucius chuckled. "It seems that I was currently too weak to sense the real power of God-level talent. For now, I'll leave this unanswered."
He turned back to the list. He tapped his foot against the floor, thinking about the options. "The Beastman evolutions are practical. It enhances her overall stats."
He stopped and turned to the human list. "But the human paths... it will change them entirely and give them a talent to tame beasts. But the downside is they are not strong anymore."
Lucius then turned to Liora. He was going to ask her what she wanted to do. Evolving into a beastman with power or human with taming talent.
"Liora, I have something important to discuss with you. This isn't like our usual decisions. For this, your input is crucial."
Liora tilted her head and flicked her tail in confusion. "My input, Master? You've always chosen the strongest path for me. Why is this time any different?"
Lucius glanced at her and became serious. "Because the options before us aren't as simple as power or strength. There's more at stake—more possibilities."
Lucius stepped forward and spread his hands. "You have two choices. The first is the familiar path: evolving further as a Beastman."
"This will enhance your raw power and refine your natural abilities, making you an unparalleled fighter."
Lucius let Liora understand it first. "But the second option... it's different. You can evolve into a human."

Liora stepped forward. She extended her claws and stared at them. She also flexed her fingers to see them for the last time.
Her tail was swaying behind her. She reached back and felt her soft tail for one last time.
"These claws have protected me. Fought for me. Served you, Master. And this tail... it's been a part of who I am, a symbol of my nature as a Beastman."
She paused and curled her claws into a fist. "But none of it matters now."
She turned to Lucius. She stepped closer and kneeled. "I'm ready, Master. Let's start. It's time to leave this part of me behind and step into something greater."
Lucius smirked. "Good. You've made your choice. Let's see how far this new form will take you, Liora."
Lucius turned to the system and smirked. It was time for Liora to become something new.
