The alchemy classroom was filled with a rich scent of grass and wood after just one day.
When Lann and Margaret walked out of the classroom the next morning, despite the female warlock’s efforts to tidy her attire, she ultimately hadn’t practiced using magic to repair torn clothes.
Lann’s extraordinary achievements in alchemy seemed to make Margaret quite excited.
The previous night, when they tested the efficacy of the "Dragon Bone Growth Agent" by extracting a small piece of the gray gel and placing it on an herb,
the plants growing rampantly in the cracks of the stone floor surrounded the entire classroom in a web of tender green roots, as if inhabiting a treehouse.
Amid the continuous growth of the plant roots, Margaret excitedly initiated a ’war,’ and Lann accepted the challenge.
To Lann, lying on plants felt quite different from lying on a soft bed.
Margaret stood with a flushed face outside the classroom, watching Lann widen the tangled roots at the entrance to extricate himself.

Margaret had already registered the piece of "Balerion’s Jawbone," and it would be properly stored in the Airetusa’s storeroom.
In terms of ownership, it remained Lann’s personal possession.

Tishaya was already waiting at the entrance of the crystal cultivation project’s laboratory. Upon seeing the two approach, her beautiful, ascetic-style eyes slightly furrowed before returning to calm.
Indeed, as Margaret stated, Tishaya had witnessed much more.
At Airetusa, the scenes of female students ’comforting’ each other were not unfamiliar to this great mage who had served as dean for hundreds of years.
"Come on, Lann." Tishaya said plainly, turning to open the laboratory.
"Show me your results... I hope you didn’t spill your precious inspirations and talents along with bodily fluids last night."
She lightly jabbed at the young man, making Lann scratch his head.
Margaret, however, smiled calmly at her teacher.
Subsequently, the demon hunter composed himself, entering the laboratory which had entirely replaced its equipment.
In the eyes of the young man, it was still a small laboratory with a workshop atmosphere.
But the glow of the magic-patterned fabric intertwined with the candlelight made it clear to Lann that the potential here transcended the limits of the current era.
Tishaya walked gracefully to stand behind Lann.
"Based on your experiment requirements, the crystal’s purity was reduced by two levels, and the magic power conduction direction on the magic-patterned fabric was also adjusted to a specific deviation... Your cost control is commendable. Amazingly, the experimental cost remained controlled at 3,200 Oren."
Lann was fully focused on checking the equipment customized specifically for his experiments.
The experiment cost was calculated by Mentos setting up a price list, then cutting close to the limit, taking a whole twenty minutes for the biological AI.
It was almost the same duration as when it formulated a magic seal training plan for Lann.
Margaret instinctively closed the door after entering.
The engraved magic rune group in the laboratory was linked as the door closed, beginning to withstand the flow of chaos magic power.
The blond beauty gracefully moved to the magic power supply position, and the surge of chaos magic power from her almost made Lann’s bear-head necklace jump off his neck.
The magical glow filled the room along the patterns on the walls, finally converging onto the platform supporting the large crystal.
Tishaya watched calmly, even though ninety-nine percent of warlocks couldn’t provide such large and stable magic power. But clearly, she wasn’t among them.
"According to your provided experiment process, I have already injected a standard nutrient solution with a diluted concentration into the crystal’s isolation cover."
"I know your process is quite different, but I still want to remind you, this concentration of nutrient solution can’t even form regular muscle fibers. As for the heart’s..."
"The heart muscle fibers’ nutritional demand is generally five times that of regular muscle fibers. I know, Tishaya."
Lann interrupted Tishaya’s reminder, standing with arms crossed in front of the isolation cover, overlooking the most advanced alchemy experiment in the world.
"I’ve brought something more ’nutritious.’
The ex-dean elegantly combed her black hair, glancing sidelong at the nearby Margaret.
The current dean, however, displayed a ’watching a show’ expression, appearing even more confident than Lann.
The demon hunter took out a piece of parchment from his pocket, handing it to Tishaya.
"These are the experimental parameters that need on-site adjustment, I trouble you."
Tishaya reached out to accept it, the neat handwriting on it causing her expression to relax. But after seriously contemplating the meaning of these parameters, she furrowed her brows.
"According to these data, even if this ’heart’ is cultivated, it would be deformed. The number of blood vessels, their positions, the thickness distribution of the myocardial wall... this is not a normal heart at all."
Lann naturally knew it wasn’t a normal heart; it was the {Second Heart} specifically for Interstellar Warrior surgery.
Because of the consideration for space and volume occupation in the thoracic cavity, its shape and parameters differed significantly from a normal heart, just as Tishaya said—a ’deformity.’
Lann’s expression showed no disturbance, and his tone was calm and steady.
"Deformed is exactly what we’re aiming for. If we can create a heart form that matches the data even in its deformity, it will mean that this technology is completely controllable."
Tishaya was convinced by this reasoning, nodding her head.
"I understand, starting to input the parameters."
