Attending classes, heading to the library to find answers on his own when he couldn’t keep up, and seeking proper tutoring from Margaret.
Thanks to Mentos’ perfect memory, Lann never neglected knowledge, nor did he ever forget it.
This ’never regressing’ model of knowledge acquisition made his learning ability more formidable than those naturally gifted warlocks.
In the Airetusa Library, he didn’t follow Tishaya’s reading list to look for books. In reality, he used his eyes like a scanner.
He stuffed all this knowledge into Mentos based on his brain’s tolerance level.
The bio-intellect often marveled that this was the proper application scenario for a learning machine at the elementary school level.
The environment in Airetusa made Mentos feel right at home.
Practice refers to knowledge, knowledge guides practice. Under favorable learning conditions, Mentos directly elevated Lann’s learning ability to the standard level of a normal Human Union member.
Even the lacking knowledge in curse handling for a Demon Hunter was in place. The only knowledge Lann now lacked compared to a fully qualified Demon Hunter was that of monsters.
The warlocks were only interested in the materials on monster bodies, perhaps observing monster ecology.
Generally, they didn’t care much about the weaknesses or secret habits of monsters. Hence, there was little knowledge about them in books.
However, Lann felt this shortcoming was acceptable.
He had already accepted the Lady of the Lake’s commission, and in the time that even gods would call ’not short’, his adventures would mostly take place in other worlds.
The deficiency in local monster knowledge wasn’t a pressing issue.
Those restless Female Sorcerer Apprentices would initially wink and expose their collars to Lann during classes.
Lann didn’t feel he was taking advantage; he just felt he wasn’t being respected.
The apprentices didn’t know about Lann’s past achievements. They only saw a sword-wielding Demon Hunter enter the room with the Dean, and then appear in the classroom and library the next day. Thus, they assumed he was a handsome lover of the Dean, taking advantage of his position to enjoy the academy’s educational resources.
They had no love for Lann, not even pure desire, only mockery.
However, when Lann began showcasing his learning abilities, these Female Sorcerer Apprentices quickly learned to sit properly in class.
Learning ability is one of the most important abilities a person can have.
When a person with extraordinary learning ability appears around, everyone, whether they like it or not, naturally respects him.
Lann gained respect. Even reverence, from a distance.
In class, no students or teachers would lift their skirts, pull at collars, or wink at him.
It was as if Lann was more authoritative than the Dean in Airetusa.
Conversely, outside the classroom and library, the apprentices became even more fervent, as if Margaret couldn’t even control the situation.
Lann attributed this to ’respect for the strong’ and the apprentices’ ’admiration for strength’.
And the greatest harvest for the Demon Hunter these days was constructing a conceptual framework that included Magic Alchemy during his learning and book perusal.
He had already grasped the broad outline of this profound technology; as long as more knowledge and discoveries were added, deeper development would encounter little bottleneck.
And in his genetic seed, there was a vast repository of biochemical knowledge and peculiar discoveries from the Interstellar Era.
What he needed to do was replicate these results using methods involving Magic Alchemy.
"The current bottleneck in the crystal cultivation project is undoubtedly related to internal organ cultivation. The cultivation of muscle, skin, and other tissues has already been practically applied to Margaret. Her legs are full and smooth, with no trace of injury, indicating that this technology is already mature."

A kind of authority belonging to the leader of the experiment.
Acquiring authority in the laboratory is not like in the royal court; you don’t need to distinguish friend from foe, eliminate competitors, or draw in neutral factions.
You only need to prove that your research direction is bright; eager experimenters will naturally follow.
Lann knew his direction was correct, but would the leader, Tishaya, agree? Since she is the leader of this project, she must have profound expertise and unique insights.
She might consider the direction once or twice, given Lann and Margaret’s connection, but the uncertainty of biochemical experiments meant that even if the research direction was correct, it might take a long time to produce results.
Would Tishaya continue to devote resources and energy here then?
The researchers in the lab were not Lann’s enemies; one cannot pressure them as if they were enemies.
They were Lann’s colleagues, working together towards a certain academic goal and achievement.
So, if Lann wanted to influence the experiment’s direction, he must first strengthen his voice in the lab and then exert this influence on Tishaya.
This is the normal development process of a laboratory.
In short: to demonstrate high-level research skills.

Now in the library, Lann got up and went to a nearby apprentice, called her over, and led her to his earlier seat.
Philixia Koli, a Female Warlock Apprentice with decent skills, introduced to him by Tishaya when they first met.
According to the former Dean, the two of them, plus herself, were the entire participants in the crystal cultivation project in Airetusa. The remaining warlocks were scattered among the Northern Countries, with no ’offline meetings’ having yet occurred.
The Female Sorcerer Apprentice wore a dark red headscarf that covered her deep brown hair. She still seemed unaccustomed to being a Female Warlock, using her unbound hair to express her protest against conventional social norms.
Yet, in terms of clothing, she boldly exposed two-thirds of her chest.
A neatly stacked pile of papers was already laid out at Lann’s seat; these were the experimental tasks assigned to him by Tishaya.
Actually, if he didn’t need to submit a report, all this could have been completed in an instant by Mentos in his head.
"The various influences on the growth rate of biological tissues have been identified; this is my report. Furthermore, the paper on precisely inducing biological tissue growth while avoiding uncontrolled growth is also included. Please hand it over to Tishaya for me."
