Lann threw out a griffin card, his expression calm.
"Children always get sentimental about farewells. But I am clear-headed, we have only been friends for less than a month, it’s better for her to go home."
"Yes, going home. Nothing is more comforting than that word."
Lann, upon hearing Belengar’s theory last night, had a moment where he thought, why couldn’t he take this opportunity to go home too?
But soon, he sobered up.
If he could go home, the Lady of the Lake wouldn’t need to seek a little girl to ascend Black Seagull Island.
Since arriving in this world, he had experienced biological mind integration, demon hunter mutation, and interstellar warrior gene seed implantation.

Then screamed with a flushed face.
She had expected to see a deity similar to the Old Gods or Seven Gods she believed in back in her home world, with either a benevolent or majestic visage.
But the Lady of the Lake and Miss Nymph left the biggest impression of having an unreserved good figure.
The Nymph took Alia’s hand, while the lady stretched her palm forward.
"Lann of Sintra, you undoubtedly possess the five virtues of a knight, and today, you shall battle the Evil God because of it."
Like having an epiphany, Lann stepped forward, and lifted his palm upwards beneath the Lady of the Lake’s palm.
"I shall grant you my precious blood, this blood shall summon Da Gun, as well as bind Da Gun."
No sooner had she finished speaking, a strikingly crimson drop of blood descended from the lady’s alabaster fingertip.
Initially appearing as liquid, but once it landed in Lann’s palm, it morphed into a radiant Blood Gemstone.
As if completing a ritual, the solemn and sacred atmosphere around the Lady of the Lake crumbled at the moment the Blood Gemstone dropped.
She leisurely walked across the water’s surface, came to the edge of the pool, affectionately hugging the Nymph and Alia.
