“He’s with Dad. I miss Mom and Dad. I was with Dean this weekend, so I missed our dinner. and since you’re out of the country, Mom excused me for that.”

She laughs. “No, silly. But we’ll have a family get together as soon as you and K are back. In the meantime, enjoy your stay there. I think you two need to explore each other a little bit. And it’s been four years. Both of you have changed a lot.”
