Tang Shaoyang received the notification after Clementine gave a short speech. It was followed by a few dozen more notifications, telling him what he could do with his new promotion. There were long lists, lists of abandoned worlds, lists of worlds with their coordinates, and more information for the class, bloodline, talents, and more.
But he was distracted by the sound of chairs screeching against the floor as the seven Executive Administrators immediately stood up after the speech. They all gave him an aggressive look, making sure that he knew they did not like his promotion. For Tang Shaoyang, he did not give a damn about them.
"The formality is done, and we have more pressing matters to take care of. We will leave!" The man who sat to the left of Clementine said before disappearing from the room, followed by the six. They did not congratulate him, or introduce themselves who they were. Not even trying to pretend to be polite as they left right away.
But it also told him that there was also a faction with such a low number of Executive Administrators. The seven Executive Administrators united in one faction, and that meant the remaining three were the second faction. It was so unbalanced for a faction and despite they had the number, Clementine looked like the leading figure in the Executive Administrator.
"Don't mind them, they disagree with your promotion, but there's nothing they could do when Cloud makes the decision," Clementine was shaking her head. They all have lived so long, but they were still so childish to act like that, "Congratulations on your speed promotion. You are the quickest and the youngest to reach Executive Administrator. Take advantage of your new privileges and get yourself even stronger."
"Congratulations on your promotion, Tang Shaoyang. Let's work harder to achieve our ultimate goal, the Void Cult eradication." The man between Clementine and Arion stood up, offering a handshake.
Tang Shaoyang stood up and reached out his hand, "Thank you."
"Ah, my name is Baba by the way." Executive Administrator Baba introduced himself, "If you ever really need help, don't hesitate to come to me."
Then Arion also congratulated him on the promotion. Arion was sharing the story of how ugly those seven Executive Administrators' faces were when Cloud decided to promote him to Executive Administrator.
"Stop with your unending yapping, Arion. You still have work to do. I don't think The Genesis Emperor would take this lightly after losing one of the emperors. Be prepared for the worst," Clementine told Arion to leave, and Baba excused himself, leaving Tang Shaoyang and Clementine in the room.
"I will give you a week's vacation, but you must take the listed tasks for the Executive Administrator in a week," Clementine was considerate, giving Tang Shaoyang a vacation for a week instead of telling the new Executive Administrator to work immediately. In fact, she felt it was a lot less than what he wanted to give for killing an emperor. If not for the other seven Executive Administrators, she would give a month's break to Tang Shaoyang.

That was Clementine's last words for Tang Shaoyang before leaving him in the room alone.
Tang Shaoyang had a lot of questions about the Executive Administrator. Such as where the listed tasks were, what about his team members, would still be part of his team, or the team itself disbanded with him getting promoted, and most importantly, he wanted to hear what they said when they met on the frontier. A new world was getting destroyed and abandoned because of the Void Cult.
He wanted to ask how it happened because Earth and Aqura were considered a new world in the System. He wanted to prevent something like that from happening in the world under his influence. Another important thing was about the protection, he did not know whether Earth was still under the System's protection just as Cloud promised, or whether the protection was over when he returned from the mission.
"Also how do they teleport here and there inside the Administrator Space? I want to learn it as well, it's more convenient than walking around," Tang Shaoyang muttered.
[Teleportation in the Administrator Space is part of the Executive Administrator's privilege. That way if a situation needs an Executive Administrator's presence, the Executive Administrator can come right away.]
A voice rang in the room, a familiar voice. He recognized the voice, it was not the new Blue Cloud, but the old Adam.
"You are back, Adam? I thought you were gone forever. Is it because I am an Executive Administrator now?"
[I am very sorry for my previous offenses, Executive Administrator Tang Shaoyang. Avatar Cloud found corruption on my part and has Blue Cloud replacing me temporarily until I get fixed. There's no more corruption on my part now.]
"That's good then. Can you teach me how to use the teleportation privilege then?"
A map showed up in front of Tang Shaoyang. A detailed map of five floors of Administrator Spaces, and each floor was bigger than he thought. The Administrator Space was like a world by itself with several lounges and mission centers.
[You can tell me where you want to go, and I will teleport you there, Executive Administrator Tang Shaoyang.]
"I see…" Tang Shaoyang muttered while nodding. He opened the map and tried to look for his room. But he could not find his room on the map, "Can you send me back to my room?"
[You received a new room that fits your new status as the Executive Administrator. Do you want me to teleport you to the new room or your old room?]
"My old room…" He wanted to have some discussion with his new team before going home. He missed his daughter, and more importantly the new Dimensional Tower.
[Someone is waiting for you outside the room right now. Are you sure you want to leave her and go to your old room?]
Tang Shaoyang was surprised to hear and walked to the exit. Sure enough, Atilla was waiting outside the room.
She smiled and bowed her head, "Congratulations on your promotion, Executive Administrator Tang Shaoyang."
"So you know my promotion even before me, huh?" He remembered what she said when she escorted him to this room.
"Of course. I am Clementine's right hand, and how do you think they found out about your heroic achievement? It was me who told her how you killed Thomas and the seven kings. All your team members except for Khaya also received an automatic promotion together with you."
Tang Shaoyang nodded his head, but he squinted his eyes at her, "So what do you want from me?" Atilla would not wait for him just to congratulate him. They were not that close enough.
"Quite sharp, huh?" Atilla smiled, "I want to overlook my team's rude behavior during the mission. I hope you don't make things hard for them, Executive Administrator Tang Shaoyang. My team members might have an inflated ego, but they are good at their work."
"Just that?" Tang Shaoyang was surprised to hear what Atilla wanted to say. She responded with a nod.
"Then you don't have to be worried about anything. I am not that petty as long as they don't cross the line."
"Thank you for your understanding. Then I will take my leave now. You got your vacation, but I don't think I will receive mine," Atilla left after hearing the answer.
Tang Shaoyang was surprised that Atilla would go this far for his team members, unexpected. But he never really took offense with how they treated him when he was still a Senior Administrator.
"Send me to my old room, Adam."
He appeared in his bedroom, and he could hear chatter followed by cheers from the living room. Atilla told him that his team members also received their promotions, all of them. It meant there was no more Admin Helper in his team.
Tang Shaoyang opened the door, and it was followed by a dead silence as everyone looked toward him, or his door to be more exact. The cheers and the chatters died as they stared at him with widened eyes.
"W-wh-who are you?" Lucia stuttered.
Their captain had a meeting with the Executive Administrator. Even if the meeting was over, their captain should come from the front door, not his bedroom.
Only Anne and Khaya were not surprised. Both stood up and congratulated him, "Congratulations on your promotion, Executive Administrator Tang Shaoyang."
The dead silence was broken with a loud cheer as all of them swarmed their captain.
