Never crossed his mind that he would be defeated here. Before he came here, he regarded the fight as a warm-up before their actual war against the bigger force. He expected the Commander of the Hurakan Legion would be a good warm-up fight. That was his intention when he volunteered to lead the battle into the Hurakan Legion.
He did not care who killed The Battle King, and he did not have an intention to avenge such a weakling. This battle was supposed to help him get back into shape again and also try the new domain he developed. He came with such high confidence, but that same confidence was crushed.
"Who are you?" Thomas Lysvand asked the ice dragon this time.
The Void Cult had vast information agents in the God Realms, and they should have heard someone like these two. But the Void Cult never heard of these, no picture or names. They even had their people in the Dragon Realm, but they never heard about the six-headed dragon, and this girl might be as powerful as Zonaras the Dragon Guardian of the Dragon Realm, or even stronger.
"Who are you!?" He repeated the question, with a hint of desperation this time.
The six heads peered over the weakened black tiger, a trace of disappointment could be seen in his eyes. Tang Shaoyang expected more from an emperor, and the fight was underwhelming even if it was two against one.
"Are you the weakest emperor?"
The question was a sting to his pride, any last ounce of his pride disappeared with the question. The worst part was Thomas could not really refute that because no matter what his answer was, it looked like a weakling excuse.
"Must be. The last one you fight is even scarier than this one. Or maybe you become even more powerful… That doesn't make sense. You met him not long ago…" Avyn muttered, breathing the frost air through her mouth as she spoke.
"Let's capture him for now," Tang Shaoyang said to Avyn despite his disappointment. He expected more from an emperor, and yet it was another disappointment.
Thomas Lysvand could not be killed, but capturing him was the same as killing him. Karoen told them that Thomas could not return to his real body freely. There was something like a ritual to return to his real body and more complicated processes that even Karoen did not know himself.
Tang Shaoyang did not ask for the details because of the fight, but he would ask for more details from Karoen later. Avyn started to freeze Thomas, with his legs slowly spreading. She had to make sure that she did not kill Thomas while freezing him.
'How did they know they could not kill me!? Who told them?' Thomas could not help but think about how this administrator knew about the secret that only existed in the Void Realm. 'The Gods? Has he met the Gods?' The only explanation was the Gods told these two.
'They are God's creation!?' The former Hurakan Legion Commander realized that the two dragons were God's creation to fight against the Void Cult. It just made sense that the Void Cult never heard these two before if God was involved.
He could feel the bone-chilling pain reaching his lower abdomen, and it was just a matter of time before the ice dragon froze him. He snapped out of his mind.
'NO! I can't let them capture me. I must tell the old man and Leon about these two and God's plan! I have to go back.'
"I WON'T LET YOU TO CAPTURE ME!" Thomas roared for the last time as the Void Energy inside his body raged out. His body started to discharge the Void Energy, and it formed a black orb above the body.
Tang Shaoyang and Avyn exchanged glances but did not know what it was. Avyn responded quickly, forming ice confinement, in case Thomas tried to blow himself up. Tang Shaoyang and Avyn created a bigger barrier, in case it would reach the wall. They did not want to guess how big an explosion from an emperor was and played it safe.
The two dragons looked into the translucent confinement, and the orb getting denser. Avyn tried to freeze the orb, but she failed.
"Don't let the orb escape!" The only one who realized what the orb was Zara, but her warning was too late as the orb darted through Tang Shaoyang's body. It didn't have a physical form as it passed through the massive body and shot up in the direction of the Void Gate.
Tang Shaoyang turned around, and with a single flap of his wing, he caught up with the orb. He tried everything, all his Elemental Power, but he could not touch, hold, or destroy the orb. The chase continued, but he could not stop the orb. The orb entered the Void Gate and the six-headed dragon floated before the Void Gate.
He was not going to try his luck by entering the Void Realm just to chase something he could not catch. He waited for a while, in case, it was a call for reinforcement. But nothing was coming out even after five minutes, and Tang Shaoyang returned to the battlefield. The battle was not over yet just because they had captured the emperor.
What happened next was easy to imagine, two massive dragons ran through the battlefield, and Commander Edson sent the army out of the wall to clean up the army of void creatures after confirming the emperor and the eight kings were no longer around.
Even with two dragons, it took them more than ten hours with how many the void creatures were. It was more than ten million void creatures, maybe. No one bothered to count how many void creatures as they went on a killing spree.
Tang Shaoyang in his True Dragon Transformation still, standing amidst the bodies of the void creatures. He sent a message to his summoned spirits and the skeleton army to gather the body. It would take a while, but he should start using the bodies right away.
He made sure not to use his fire, to retain more bodies for the sacrifice. That was the reason why it took more than ten hours. Tang Shaoyang did not use his mass-killing skill on the void creatures. Mostly he used his tails, claw, and the Chaos Blade.
The most prized loot was Thomas Lysvand's tiger body. He flew to the body that had been frozen by Avyn, and he hoped to summon something amazing using this body, and of course, he hoped it would not summon Thomas himself.
Thomas might be strong, might be the strongest spirit after Avyn and Vandir, but he was not going to risk it by making a contract with Thomas. He had not met this God, and he did not know their natures yet. They might take offense if he contracted the spirit they tried to get rid of, and he did not plan to put those Gods on his enemy list for sure.
Zara and Avyn were standing next to the frozen dead tiger. He could see the frown on Zara's face. It looked like bad news for him.
"What's wrong?" He landed gently next to Avyn. Both were still in their dragon form, and it was under Tang Shaoyang's request.
Zara answered in a somber tone, "The orb… It contains a soul, and…"
"It might be containing Thomas' soul, returning to his real body? It means he could create another body and return later?" Tang Shaoyang finished the sentences.
Zara nodded her head, "Unless you receive a killing notification. If you don't receive the killing notification, then he might still be alive and will return later. We expect a backlash for such an attempt, but we don't know if the backlash is enough to kill Thomas."
Tang Shaoyang called Karoen as he checked the notifications. He received a lot of notifications, mostly leveling up notifications, telling him to allocate the stats points, and so on. He put that aside during the battle, and he started to check. Of course, a thick pile of killing notifications dominated his screen as he killed hundreds of thousands if not millions void creatures.
"I don't want to look through these killing notifications one by one for sure. Can I look for specific killing notifications?" All six heads shook in dismay.
As the System could hear him, the System responded to his wish.
[You have killed the Demonic Emperor, Thomas Lysvand!]
There were even more details about the notification. He received the notification nine hours and twenty-six minutes ago. The other notifications did not give the timeline.
"It explains why I get almost two thousand levels from this battle. Thomas Lysvand is dead." Tang Shaoyang shared the notification.
The Genesis Emperor, which Thomas Lysvand called him old man, floating in the sky. He stood above a smaller void gate he created, and the void creatures poured out. Less than an hour later, the void creature killed the native of the new world and turned the new world into an abandoned world.
A smile etched on his face as he witnessed his creation, but then a portal formed behind, and Leon Francis came out from the portal.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to make the portal scroll?" the old man asked, not because he was angry that Leon was coming but just curious. "Do you want to see the beauty you created?"
The Corrupted Immortal Emperor shook his head and delivered the bad news in one sentence, "Thomas is dead along with the seven kings."
