Zain attentively watched as Rukky played with their child -Zayan. His handsome
a face held a larger than life smile. Seven years ago, if someone could tell him about this day, he wouldn't waste another second to listen to their gibberish.
But today, he too couldn't believe how his life took a great U-turn.
Sometimes everything felt like a dream but having his better half and soulmate -Rukky, with him assured him it was reality. He wished and prayed for a happy ever after in this life and hereafter. He prayed to be her Jannah Prince, her source of happiness. Above all, a father to her kids.
"Zainyyy" Rukky screeched in his ear unknowingly taking him out of his reverie.
After regaining consciousness, he plastered his signature
heart-stopping smile making Rukky to fall for him again.
"What is it Zainyy?" Rukky asked with a worried laced voice. Zain
effortlessly smiled, thanking Allah for blessing him with this Angel.
He still couldn't believe she was his. How could someone be so beautiful both in and out? What in the world has he done to deserve such blessing?
"Just reminiscing about the past few years. I can't believe you're mine
Rukky". He smiled as he kissed her scarlet cheeks.
"Oh really? Is that so?" She asked in a voice devoid of emotions.
"Yes" he confusedly answered. Why was she suddenly emotionless?.
Seeing his confused state, Rukky broke into a beautiful smile, giggling like a schoolgirl.
Zain sighed slightly grinning. So she was teasing him? But he couldn't blame her. She was everything a man could ask for. Her beautiful smile, her golden heart, her angelic voice, her soothing words, her crazy demeanour, her soft and caring instincts...
He watched in awe as she flashed her white pearls. "What a beauty!''. He thought. Again swooning for the nth time.
"Zain?" That angelic voice brought him back to his senses. "What's wrong?" She wondered why he kept staring at her, suddenly making her self conscious. "I'm looking at my wife". He flashed a billion dollar smile.
"I'm happy that you're mine Rukly, only mine! And I'll never share you in shaa Allah"
"In shaa Allah" She repeated.
"My Rukky!" He smiled gently caressing her cheeks as his eyes twinkle with love, adoration, and pride.
"Your Rukky" she repeated after him all while, mirroring his expression.
Zain leaned in but was interrupted by a loud cry. Rukky shyly moved back as she looked at their cute baby.
"Seems like someone needs attention" She mumbled as she walked to the baby's crib.
"Oh baby Zayan" she cooed. Zayan giggled, responding to her trickling with a toothless smile.
Zain joined them from behind making it a perfect family picture. "I love you so much Rukky, you're my living dua". Her heart swelled with pride. This was one of her favourite moments and not to mention his words. They would forever live in her heart and mind.
"I love you too Zainny. You're all I could ask for".
