"Sign the letter of inheritance–"
Before she could finish her words, a glass of coffee poured down above the woman with full makeup, rendering the passersby staring wide-eyed at the unexpected drama.

"My dear stepmother, are you alright?" Su Yining asked in a sickeningly sweet voice.
Zhao Yuyin’s face darkened. In a split second, she adjusted her expression into a forced smile, eyes fluttering as if holding back tears.
"I am fine even if you hate me, Ning’er. But please don’t hate your dad." Zhao Yuyin let out a choked sob, pulled a handkerchief from her bag and dabbed it on her eyes. "He is waiting for you to visit at home..."
She was actually very embarrassed to do this under so many eyes. Unfortunately, if she left the place directly now, she would look weak and guilty. Su Yining would surely twist the words to her advantage.

With that, she played a voice recorder from her phone. Zhao Yiyun’s voice echoed loudly, enough for the small crowd to hear.
"Su Yining, you wretched girl. You don’t know what’s good for you. Sign the letter of inheritance waiver. You don’t deserve it! They should belong to Lan’er only!"
