"Uh-huh!" Lin Xian glared at her fiercely, scaring KIKI so much that she trembled and sobbed,
"After I heard how you saved Sister Chen, you said you wanted to sleep with her, and then mentioned some 'Infinity Train' plan. It all sounded terrible, so I thought you were... you were one of those scumbags who takes advantage of women during the apocalypse, so..."
Lin Xian looked at her indifferently.
"So you were worried that seeking someone for help might lead you into a wolf's den, thus you pretended to be unconscious, then took the chance to ambush me?"
KIKI nodded and then shook her head quickly. With the chill of the blade against her, she avoided eye contact and stuttered, "I... I didn't mean to ambush you. I had no choice, but think about it, I had just been through a disaster, woke up from fainting, and saw you trying to take advantage of me. Of course, I was scared..."
In this post-apocalyptic world, one must guard against others. Lin Xian did so, and so did KIKI. After she woke up, she had intended to talk to Lin Xian, but instead, she caught him acting maliciously towards her.
So she regarded Lin Xian as a complete pervert. In her panic, she decided to continue feigning unconsciousness and search for another opportunity to escape...
But who would have known that as soon as Lin Xian and Chen Sixuan left the car and she hadn't finished half a piece of bread, she was caught red-handed by Lin Xian, who possessed the Mechanical Heart superpower.
Lin Xian suddenly said, "Since you also don't know how to use your superpower, it makes you even more useless for me to keep around, doesn't it?!"

The wheels rolled, and the "Infinity" slowly started up again.
Seeing Lin Xian put down the knife, KIKI finally felt relieved and looked at Lin Xian, "So, can we make peace?"

Lin Xian gave her a meaningful look.

"Okay, okay, okay!" KIKI's face changed and she suddenly breathed a sigh of relief. "If you keep me, I really can help you!"
Before KIKI could celebrate, Lin Xian suddenly grabbed her and started dragging her towards carriage number one with a curious smile on his face.
KIKI was caught off guard, her face showing shock as she asked,
"Hey... what are you doing?"
"You guess!" Lin Xian said with an inscrutable look.
KIKI panicked: "Hey, hey, hey, I said let's make peace. I really made a mistake. I didn't want to hurt you. You can't bully me..."
"Wait, I'm really not of age..."
"Don't—actually, I'm a man. Look, I have no chest, so I'm not interesting to you. Besides, you already have that Sister, so stop picking on me."
"Remember my superpower? What if I lose control by accident and hurt you!"
"If that really happens, you should thank me for helping you trigger your superpower."
Inside Carriage #1, Lin Xian tied KIKI up with extra ropes, binding her hands and feet, and threw her onto the couch, loudly declaring,
"You just reminded me—if you unleash your superpower when you're in danger, I can use you as a shield at critical moments. And since you have a history of untying yourself to attack, for safety's sake, I have to tie a few extra layers to prevent any mischief."
"You scoundrel, you bastard!" KIKI struggled.
Lin Xian held up a stinky sock, "If you don't stop your endless babbling, don't blame me for stuffing this into your mouth."
By then, KIKI was fuming with anger, her face turning red and white. Although Lin Xian didn't really mean to 'bully' her, letting her breathe a sigh of relief temporarily, the damned guy actually had the nerve to tie her up to use her as a human shield??
It was despicable and hateful!
But she was under someone else's roof and couldn't beat Lin Xian. Seeing him wave a pair of stinky socks, she had no choice but to shut up and then glared at him with eyes shooting flames, plotting in her heart when to teach him a lesson.
"Keep glaring, and you'll sleep with the zombies tonight," Lin Xian said in a cold voice, seeing her look unyielding.
When KIKI heard Lin Xian mention zombies, she reflexively shrank her neck, intimidated by his might and fell silent. After a while, she finally said in a voice as quiet as a mosquito,
"Why are you so fierce? What if I need to go to the toilet..."
Lin Xian suddenly smiled, "That's a question for you. You still haven't told me how you lasted three days without eating or using the toilet?"
"The night before last, you weren't there. When that Sister fell asleep, I got up to eat and went to the toilet."
KIKI looked at him with annoyance and shifty eyes, "Last night you were too tired. After both of you were asleep, I got up again..."
Lin Xian frowned, "So if I hadn't discovered you, you were planning to keep on sleeping ?"
"Actually, not really." KIKI hummed and hawed, "I was thinking of coming clean with you today, but I got hungry again, just when neither of you was around..."
At 18:45, the sunset was falling, and the sky was enveloped in night.
The Infinity slowly stopped on a mountain ravine railway bridge. After leaving Yushan Station, apart from a brief halt midway, Lin Xian drove the train at full speed for nearly two hours. Now the whole train was scorching, but soon the temperature dropped again as the wind and snow gradually intensified.
The temperature dropped to minus 3 degrees, and a sudden snowstorm started, fogging up the glass of the carriages.
Chen Sixuan pulled down the blackout shades of all the carriages and closed the door of the cockpit. Outside the train was a dark valley, with only the silhouette of a mountain range visible upon looking up.
Inside Carriage #1, Chen Sixuan looked at KIKI, who was tightly bound, with an odd expression.
"She was pretending to sleep the whole time?"
"Exactly." Lin Xian glanced at Chen Sixuan, "Both of us were careless. Last night, she got a live show."
KIKI retorted with a flushed face, "I-I-I kept my eyes closed the whole time and didn't see anything."
Chen Sixuan's face flushed upon hearing that. If it had been just her and Lin Xian, she wouldn't have been too embarrassed, thinking of it as just huddling for warmth at the end of the world. But now there was a third party involved, and being seen by someone else made it terribly embarrassing, even if her values were shattered.
Thinking this, she bit her lip and looked angrily at KIKI, "Why were you pretending to sleep? If we hadn't looked after you these past two days, you'd be dead by now."
KIKI cast a peculiar glance at Lin Xian, "I just got the wrong impression of this bad guy, that's all."
