School had reopened but Ethan and his friends could still be seen at home with no purpose of even moving out. They were in fact lazing around. Currently, they were all gathered in the living room going about their things. Trevor and Emily who had become closer now were sitting in a coach in a corner, playing an adventure game on a holographic screen. Lamair was also sitting on the floor while playing with dog sized black spider with pink glowing tattoos on its abdomen and purple needle shaped symbols on its legs. Its eyes were pink with a mix of purple and a silvery-gold crystal could be seen on its forehead. Ethan and Clara were of course, cuddling in another sofa, away from the world and their friends. They were literally in their own world, oblivious of the impending doom that would befall them. At least some of them would survive but that would depend on the harbinger of doom.
Since the day Clara and Ethan confessed to each other, they had been any little time they could get together. They were like officially dating and had been kissing and cuddling nonstop. They hadn't crossed the last line yet, so they were still cool. It seemed that with this, Lamair would be left out but that wasn't the case, when considering how he went for a morning run and came back with a dark-skinned beauty with white hair the other day. They spent half of the day in his room doing God-knows-what. Fortunately, the rooms were soundproof otherwise, a war would've broken out in the house.
The reason why they weren't supposedly in school was because the academy had sent them a notice that the reopening had been postponed 3 days later. The reason was unknown, not that they were complaining. Ethan and Trevor had told the rest of their evolutions and breakthroughs which earned them a good amount of shock from the rest. They also tried to find a way to protect themselves from the sun which was somehow unwarranted as their academy uniforms were made with special materials to support all the racial traits of the races in Anbord. As vampires, they needed protection from the sun and the uniform had that installed for them which activated automatically the moment they wore it and stepped into the sun. So, with this you could say they have accomplished this quest.
As they were going about their things, the front door was kicked open by a slender leg in black high boots.
"Honey boo! I'm home!" Ethan who was in the process of giving Clara the "Phantom Cuddles", instantly paled. It was like he had entered vampire form but that wasn't it. He looked towards the doorway and there he saw something he would never forget in his life. A monster right from his nightmares was standing there. Its hair was like dark tentacles and its golden eyes were filled with such chill that Ethan was frozen with fear. In a speed that he couldn't fathom, the monster was upon him, its aura crushing him to the sofa. On closer look, it wasn't a monster but...
"Sis? Harley? I... I can explain..." But Harley was deaf to his words. She had changed a bit so Ethan couldn't recognize her on first look. Her bluish-blonde hair had turned a golden blonde and grown so long that it reached her knees. Her eyes although gold as always, had a slight spark of experience in them. Her fair skin had become fairer, and she looked very beautiful but the expression on her was a contrast to her beauty.
Her Advanced level aura crushed on Ethan, and he tried fighting back with his own, but he couldn't. That was when he realized that his body was reacting to her aura. He wasn't sick or hurt anywhere but his body was healing or more like over-healing and it was affecting his body negatively. He was burning up just like how he would if he was exposed to the sun without protection. Gritting his teeth, he fought the pain and approached Harley. With strength like no other, he hugged her firmly. He was taller than her now. And then, he did the best thing he could think of... he kissed her. Harley literally froze up in shock while her raging aura which was beginning to suffocate the others a bit snuffed out of existence. Then she started struggling to get out of his embrace, but Ethan held her firmly. All her defenses were shattered in the next moment, and she kissed him back. It was a full three-minute kiss which ended with a cough from Trevor and a chilly aura directed at Ethan. For the second time today, Ethan saw two monsters from his nightmares. The others sensing the battle ahead literally vanished from the living room living Ethan with two monsters, his system and his close pal, Zark.
'Haha! Kid you are dead! Hahahahaha! This a battle you can never win... Hahaha!'
'Piss off! System? What are my chances of survival?' The system replied in a feminine voice although it was still as robotic as it could be.
*The chances of the host surviving are null... 0%. Even the gods won't be able save you from this. It was nice working with you, but everything must eventually come to an end. I promise I will find a better host to pass on your power. *
"SIT!" Ethan didn't know where the command came from, but he complied without hesitation and cold sweat pouring from his face. 'Women are really as scary as they say!'
Harley took a seat at his left while Clara took one on his right. They both had "beautiful" smiles on their faces which would make even a Platinum ranked gargoyle elder shit himself. Ethan was almost close to fainting from their aura but strong willpower, he held on.
"Have you done it?" Harley asked.
"I'm not talking to you Ethan Smith Junior." Harley cut off Ethan before he could reply.
"Nope. Which is very unfortunate on my part."
"I'm really glad. But you've cuddled him. Have you seen his nakedness?"
"I beat you to that. I must tell you, he's very big and tall down there. Are sure you can handle it?"
"You won't know unless you try."
"..." No Ethan had become a forced spectator to the girls. They smiled and chatted like old time friends but when they turned to Ethan, he felt his life flash before his eyes and his two trustworthy companions weren't helping either. They had begun working on tribute for him.
"Mm. Good... I made him promise to take my virginity after I advance to the mid of the Advanced level. What are you going to do about that?"
"Hmm... if it's a promise, I have no problem with it, but I will be joining you guys after five minutes."
"Can I have a say here?" Ethan asked in a small voice.
"What do you wish to say, Ethan Smith Junior?"
"I don't want to have sex because of some promise or because of a deal. I like you both. In fact, I love you both. Harley, I've known you since I was born. You've been my big sister and something like my first girlfriend and it would be really difficult to allow another guy to be with you. Clara, you are my first love and childhood crush. Maybe because of our backgrounds, we aren't supposed to be, but I would still love you no matter what and even go to extents, even if I have to fight your family for you, I would. In fact, I already did that with Leon, and I would do it over and over again. But I don't want you to love out of necessity or take this as a competition to be with me. I still love you both the same, even if sounds foolish, I really do. My question is, do you really love me as you say and are you willing each other as sisters instead of rivals for me? Clara? Harley?" Ethan said, preparing for the worst but he got something instead.
Both girls jumped on him with tears in their eyes and beautiful smiles on their faces. Before Ethan could react, he was assaulted with kisses and hugs. This went on for 10 minutes with Ethan ending up on the floor with two beautiful girls lying on his broad chest with content and happy smiles on their beautiful faces. As if it was predetermined, the auras of both girls exploded. The aura of two Advanced level mages climbed and increased in intensity until it reached the mid-level and then the raging power and presence of both auras stabilized. They were both now certified mid-level Advanced level mages and the push they needed was none other than Ethan who accepted them for who they were and destroyed their fears.
They following days were bound to be filled with love and lust.
