After some weeks, Isabelle was discharged from the hospital. Antonio finally told Chris who had attempted to kidnap his mate.
After hearing the name, fury was all he felt. What did he ever do wrong to his father? Why was he so keen on bringing misery to him? So bent in hell on making sure he was never happy in his life? What exactly did he do wrong?
And then he decided to get his answers then after that, he would kill him. It was enough. All the misery he had put him through was enough.
Jacob told him it was because he was a male and also the first born. Christopher was the only reason he had to give up the Alpha position.
He was greedy. Greedy of what didn't even belong to him. Greedy of what wasn't his birth right.
Christopher then raised his claws to kill him with just one final blow before he realized, he hadn't asked his mother's opinion. He was, after all, unfortunately her mate.
And one more fact he didn't want to accept, he wasn't capable of killing his own father. And so, he had him thrown in the dungeon. The worst of the dungeons and then told his mother about it.
His mother went ahead to visit him and only came out some minutes later. When the guards went in to check up on their prisoner, he was on the floor lying in his own pool of blood.
He had extracted his own claw and dug out his heart. Ripping it from where it originally was.
This, surprisingly, left a huge impact on Chris and Dolores. Even though he was a monster which they knew, he was still their father.
They held his funeral that day and Chris accepted his fate. So did Lilith.
Even though the baby was just some weeks old, Isabelle had started to have her weird cravings.
She would wake Chris in the middle of the night and ask for the weirdest food of all.
This night was one of those nights.
Isabelle tossed and turned on the bed before finally giving up.
She looked to her right to see Chris sleeping gently with his eyes closed. He could sleep? This bed was like hard rock.
She gently tapped him and he opened his eyes. Sitting up, he turned to his bedside.
"You want water? Here you go." He said giving her the glass cup.
Isabelle pursed her lips and accepted it nonetheless. She took a swig of it and returned the cup to Chris.
"Now come here, let's sleep."
"I want salad." She said and his eyes widened.
"Salad?" He repeated.
"Don't repeat what I just said." She snapped.
"Sorry." He said gently.
Apart from her requesting for weird things, she would snap, cry, laugh... do anything anytime. She was totally unpredictable.
"Look at what you did to me." She yelled and started crying.
"Hold on... Sorry... what did I do?" He asked patting her back.
"I don't know." She replied and Chris couldn't help but sigh.
"Right. I'll go make you salad then." He said.
"No... No I don't want salad." She said and Chris said a silent prayer only to have his mouth drop open when she finished her sentence.
"I want fruit smoothies."
"Isabelle..." He started and then she hit his chest.
"Ow! What did you do that for?" He asked.
"Don't call me Isabelle!" She yelled at him.
"Okay okay... I won't call you- that name again. Alright, Belle... Where do you expect me to find fruits to make you smoothie?" He asked.
"You bought fruits yesterday!" She accused.
"And you ate it finish that yesterday." He retorted.
"Then why are you yelling at me?!" She yelled.
"I didn't- Oh My..." He paused and almond felt like crying.
He really just wanted to sleep.
"Alright, let's go downstairs and see what we can make." He finally said with a sigh.
"You still haven't apologized." She said suddenly.
"What?"
"You yelled at me earlier. You haven't apologized." She said.
Chris could only stare back at her before he drew in a long sigh followed by a sorry.
"You keep sighing. You hate me. You think I have so much problems. You think I've grown fatter."
Chris eyes widened at the accusation. He immediately plopped down beside her.
"What? No, no... I would never hate you... I'm just really sorry for making you think that. Now come on, my beauty... Let's go downstairs."
"You don't?" She asked peeking at him.
"Of course, my witchy mate. I love you." He said smiling at her.
"I love you too. And I'm sorry for all this weird cravings. I just... I just want this baby out already." She said with a frown.
Chris immediately placed his lips on hers to keep her from talking.
"The baby can hear you." He whispered against her lips.
She giggled and hooked her hand around his neck. Chris lifted her at once and kissed her lips again.
She smiled at him tilting her head before she hugged him.
"Thank you."
"What for?" Chris asked walking towards the door.
"I don't know... Everything." She replied and then shrugged.
"Hn. Okay." He replied shrugging.
"Do you think we still have ice cream?" She asked.
"Yeah... I had it restocked last night."
"Aw! You're the best." She said giggling.
Chris smiled before setting her down at the breakfast stool.
"Which flavor do you want?" He asked opening the fridge.
"Hmm... Is there Rainbow?" She asked.
"Yep." He said and pulled out two tub of Ice Cream.
"I want just one. I'm not a food monger." She said grabbing a spoon.
"I know... This one is for me." He replied.
Ah right.
"Do you remember the day you told me I was on probation?" Chris asked making Isabelle pause in taking the next scoop.
She looked up at him and shrugged bringing out the scoop.
"Yeah?" She asked.
"I've been curious anyways. Am I still on probation?" He asked.
"Do you want to go on a date?" She asked making him blink.
"Sure I would love to." He replied truthfully.
Five years later.
Isabelle had had her training with Roxy after she gave birth to her first daughter. She now controlled her power and use it without having to break anyone's home. It happened once, in Roxy's home.
Two children, a girl and a boy about five years old were running towards the wood. Looking back, they spotted the auburn wolf still chasing after them.
Soon, they saw two women, one with golden hair and the other with blonde hair. The smiled at each other having reached their destination only to be stopped by the wolf that was behind them just now.
"Oh my, El! Leave my kids alone!" Isabelle yelled turning around.
"Zoe, Easton... Come over here!" She yelled and Elena changed into her human wolf laughing at Isabelle.
Isabelle shook her head at her and walked towards them. Dolores followed behind her and they made their way to where the men were.
"No... No, you relax your shoulder and pull the bow with your fingertips not your fist." Mike said bending down to his daughter's level.
She released the shot and it hit the bullseye.
"Bullseye!" Her Mother yelled bumping her hips into Isabelle's.
Isabelle looked over to Chris that was holding his son pointing over the huge vast of last below to him.
Isabelle had given birth to a daughter, Zoe five years ago while Elena gave birth to a son, Easton instead.
Dolores had given birth some months after Isabelle and named her daughter, Tabitha.
Isabelle gave birth to a son, Ryker two years ago who was a younger brother to his sister, Zoe.
Ryker was in the arm of his father but once he spotted his mother, he stretched his hands towards her.
Chris could only hand over the child carrying Zoe instead since she was the one that liked to spend her time with him more.
"How is my baby girl doing?" He asked.
"I'm fine." Isabelle replied kissing his lips.
"Eww!" Zoe and Easton said closing their eyes.
"And that is why PDA is advised against." Antonio said shaking his head.
Isabelle laughed at him shaking her head as well.
The six of them were on a picnic with their children.
Isabelle and Chris sat down by each other with Zoe in their middle and Ryker on Isabelle's laps.
Antonio and Elena sat with Easton sitting in their middle telling his father about how fast his mother was.
Mike and Dolores were seated together looking at the huge vast of land underneath. Their daughter, Tabitha was sitting on Dolores lap.
Isabelle rested her head on Chris's shoulder with a sigh.
"Guys... We have an announcement." Elena said suddenly making everybody look at them.
"We're expecting."
Everyone blinked at them before the kids yell out suddenly
"Laser Tag!" And then they scrambled off.
