After helping Marisa settle comfortably into one of the empty guest rooms in the pack house. I went back to my office alone while Noah choose to remain in the pack house .
He had a crush on the young new pack cook whose name was marble. he has been crushing on for some time now and am sure the feeling his mutual thanks to magic but I wouldn't tell in order not to make his head swell . It was so obvious that she liked him with amount of food she puts in his stomach everyday.
Mable joined my pack last two months ,she was running from someone and something, I could feel it but I don't know what that is.
I arranged the necessary ingredients needed to solve this difficult case using my magic book. My magic book was kept in a mysterious magical box no one could unlock except me. All the ingredients I needed were present but the main materials needed for the spell were Marisa hair and blood. It was the basic ingredient missing to complete these portion to find out why she isn't acting and feeling like a normal she wolf who has found her mate should. My mysterious magical book was given to me by the moon goddess herself. I can connect with her through my meditation. The book practically answers all your questions.
Getting her hair and blood for the portion will be a difficult case seeing all she has shown to me since we meet his hate. She not staying in the alpha house which would have been easier for me if she was.
The big question is how do I get her hair or a drop of her blood when she doesn't even like me and can't stand the sight of me. She's is disgusted by my sight ,her eyes practically shoots lasers at me. It's scary.
Since I meet her she hasn't look at me directly in the eyes. It's like there was something stopping her from acknowledging me as her mate like a dark strange bond, I could smell something related to evil but I wasn't so sure . I could feel it and I have to find out for the sake of I and my wolf sanity. For the sake of my future and that of my mate.
By the time I was done preparing all the ingredients which consisted of a vampire blood ,a fairy blood and a dragon blood, it was already dinner time. I had killed a vampire once upon a time who was foolish a enough to stomp on my land.
I had gotten a fairy blood as a gift from a fairy it's self. Fairy blood were rare and special, I got it when I helped the fairy king. I helped him make a protection spell for his people. He gave me their blood which was golden in colour. It was the greatest gift somebody could give you.
And last ingredients I got was the dragon blood, but not original, I had use a the spell book with the help of my magic band to prepare it. Dragons no longer existed there have all gone instinct so the only way to get it was what I used.
"Shit Marisa will be hungry" I thought out loud. I had completely focused on making the portion.
How can I forget that the way to a woman's heart is true her stomach, just like it is to a man and right now I needed to make a good impression. I was failing so far. I had to make it up to he before she starve to death .
Damn I was already behaving like a shitty mate.
I hurriedly ran as fast as I can to the pack house ,I wanted to use magic to teleport myself but decided against it. I climb up the stairs were her room was located but it was empty, I walked into the bathroom and knock ,no response. So I want to the pack kitchen which was all the way to the east side of the pack mansion to look for her.
As I walked by ,I was only greater by children, the rest of the pack members continue to stare at me like an alien there are seeing for the first time. It's was annoying bit am already use to their ugly stares.
I walked into the kitchen, my blue eyes landing on Marisa figure. There she was shamelessly flirting with my beta. She ran her hands round his arms while he flex his muscles to show her how strong he was. Werewolves were naturally strong and very she wolf like a strong male wolf.
She had no shame standing in the middle of the kitchen were the noisy and jobless pack members spent half of there time gossiping. She looked like she was enjoying what she was doing.
Pathetic.
She was here flirting with this first class asshole and I was there thinking about her stomach like an idiot mate. I was there all worried in my office for nothing when I would had make use of the time to feed myself.
"Kill this bastard one's and for all" my wolf shouted angrily breaking my thoughts, I ignored him as usual. I didn't want to give the fool the pleasure of dying ,no he would get something worse ,he sure deserves something worse than death ,besides he didn't know she was ours. My possessive wolf instinct kicking in not caring that the bastard never knew she was my mate before touching her. All I wanted to do was too his bone limb to limb.
" I don't care... end this worthless human. How dare him touch our beloved mate. He has no respect for his alpha and leader ,end him now" He growled. I don't like when my wolf got angry, he was hard to control if pissed off. Nobody would like to see my wolf pissed off trust me.
Tired of watching, I cleared my throat to get their attention since there both seem lost in each other's eyes.
Pathetic.
My fist clenched in anger and disappointment. I shook my hand at the sight of Marisa. I wouldn't lie she looked hot in those jeans she wore but I those blouse on her body was tight her breast were practically spilling out to Trevor's face who look like he was enjoying the view.
I didn't even know when I snapped and broke the table before me. The thought of the both of them doing things together made my blood boil.
"Alpha" my beta said in distaste mockingly. His lips curved up to an annoying smirk.
"Beta" I said back to him my voice tone not different from his only much more harder then his and pissed. He messed with the wrong wolf mate.
You don't mess with someone's mate.
My beta wasn't chosen by me but by my pack members. Why? I will tell you... remember what I told you in the beginning of my story..yeah...my life isn't like what a normal Alpha male is. It suck. Other alpha wolf in their packs are treated like Gods and her highly respected and feared. Some of them rule with iron fist and have no time to tolerate nonsense. But I decided against that, I didn't want myself to gain a pack love by fear.
Since I haven't transformed in front of my pack due to so many reasons which has never been heard off, my pack all agreed to make this idiot whose name is Trevor my beta to compromise with me if I don't transform into my wolf.
I'm not ashamed of my wolf even if it's a white wolf, my wolf is gifted and chosen. Once I transform into my wolf and even body sees out there will all know I was the one sent to protect them all, which can put them in danger. We could get attack multiple times a day because of my special ability. My pack and mate could be in more danger, there could be use against me. There should be grateful am in directly protecting their lives.
Now back to the asshole of the day Trevor, Trevor has the biggest wolf in the pack, black fur, huge and strong just like how a typical alpha male wolf or beta should be. Every she wolf in the pack land dreams including my mate from what I could see , except Marble who looked like the only sane one among them.
Pathetic.
So many pack members saw him more fit to lead them for pack run during moonlight since there thought their alpha was incapable of transforming into a wolf while I remain in my office drinking away my sorrows.
But not for long.
What there didn't know is I have a wolf ,yes he his a white wolf which is rare and disgusting for a male wolf to have more less an alpha male in their sight. But don't underestimate mate me ,my wolf might be five foot but he his the strongest ever in the werewolf world he is also a-
"Are you just going to stand there thinking" alpha “or are you going to say something to us or about the table you broke?." He mocked, he was standing too close to Marisa for my liking.
Haha this fool ...I can turn him into a frog if only I was that heartless but one of these days I was going to turn that mouth of his to a bird or that of a peacock.
I ignored him and continue thinking inside my head.
I can reduce and increase the size and height of my wolf ,not even Noah knows about that.
I also know Trevor is planning to start a wolf war against me to dethrone me from my rightfully deserve alpha position. He his gathering all the support he could have to dethrone me which is basically all.
I decided to stop beating around the bush and say something to remove the smile on there faces.
"I can see Trevor, you are getting quite comfortable ,too comfortable with my guest or should I say my mate the one the moon goddess blessed me with."
