The forum was filled with news that Silent wasn’t online today.
Many players were happy that they were spared, but a few observers were sad that Silent didn’t show up.
As Silent gained popularity, there were quite a few observer streams on the larger streaming platform, there was one observer who managed to gather hundreds of thousands of views at their peak.
It wasn’t surprising as although players like Kaiser were entertaining to watch, they were usually evenly matched with the opponents. Although the gameplay was high level, it wasn’t what the players were looking for.
On the other hand, Silent would win every single game while playing random. Although he wasn’t playing at a particularly high level, he had made his way to a three thousand level player, which was incredibly entertaining.
A majority of viewers preferred to watch him bully noobs too, as it felt like a drama.
Maybe that wasn’t quite right. Many viewers liked watching noobs getting bullied, but not noobs that were super low ranked. They knew that it wasn’t that entirely possible to bully players above thirty five hundred, so bullying players around the three-thousand level mark would be the most entertaining.
Three-thousand level players were considered quite good as they were decent mechanically as well as in terms of game knowledge, and it was most entertaining bullying players like those.
It was just another long boring day for viewers that were sitting in front of their computers waiting to watch Silent play some games.

After a day of discussion, the representative from Meteorite Technology decided to accept all of Chen Mo’s requests and recieved the distribution rights of Warcraft.
There weren’t many tricks they could try to do as Chen Mo asserted that he had choices.
In the end, the representative of Meteorite Technology could do nothing but give in.
It couldn’t be helped as the quality of Warcraft was so high had Chen Mo had the leverage in the negotiation.
The contract was signed.
Any changes made to Warcraft’s mechanics have to go through Chen Mo. Chen Mo has the right to put his hand into the translations; and revenue (excluding costs) will be split 3:7, with Chen Mo taking seventy percent.
It might be the worst, most humiliating day for Meteorite Technology, borderline bringing shame to the country.
The distributor usually takes the bigger cut in deals like these, and the game would be considered quite good if it got a fifty-fifty split. But only thirty percent from Warcraft?
The representative from Meteorite Technology was very conflicted, as this might be the highlight of his career, of the absolute lowest moment.
After signing the contract, the representative went back to prepare the matters about shipping it overseas.
On the other hand, Chen Mo went back to his computer to play more ranked matches.
He estimated that he should be playing against thirty-eight hundred point players if he were to win a few more games.

“Is that Silent who queues with random race? Hurry up, he’s about to queue!”
The observing streamers quickly quit the games they were spectating to spectate Silent upon realising.

It was just as usual, a random race, and dismantling his opponents. Their opponents would feel disgusted at ten minutes, feel like quitting at twenty minutes, and would type GG in thirty minutes.
The observers were all supporting Silent because of how much the viewers liked it. The more they praised Silent, the more the viewers like it, the more views they get.
All these praises resented Silent as the one true god of Silent. And Silent’s APM and other rumours were repeated again and again like a broken record.
Of course, many pointed out that Silent was just a bully, just one that makes it look cool, and one that managed to set the bar higher. It didn’t prove that his abilities were good enough to beat another pro.
The arguments were going wild in the chat. Some said that Silent was just good at bullying noobs because of how fast their hand was, and didn’t have any good strategies. The others said that his hand speed was inhumane, and would beat the pros just the same.
It didn’t take long before the audience was split into S-God and S-Dog.
“Hurry up, they started another match!”
“Wow, this ID looks really Chinese. LateWind? Isn’t that Nightwind-god’s alternate account?”
“It actually is, but this account was around thirty-four hundred yesterday, how did they meet?”
“Oh my, Silent is now at three thousand four hundred and ninety-two points! All win! He’s on a rocket to the top of the leaderboards!”
“This will be good!”
The interest of the observers and their viewers were at their highest. Finally, it wasn’t some random, but an actual high skilled player!
Nightwind, a Chinese RTS god. His real account was at three thousand seven hundred and four points and was top ten in the leaderboards. Mained Orcs, and also happened to be a highly technical player.
At high ranked games, there were mainly Orc and Human players, followed by Night Elves, and Undead at the bottom.
As Nightwind’s main account was ranked so high, it was difficult for him to find other players. And even when he did, it would be the usual few, and at that point he may as well do private games.
Which was why he would occasionally play on his alternate account, but he somehow managed to reach thirty-four hundred on this account too, and met Silent on the way.
“Hmm, isn’t this that tentacle guy that was really popular recently?”
“Great, I’m not holding back. I’m gonna teach you a lesson.”
“You’ll learn that the thirty five hundred bracket isn’t easy.”
Nightwind knew about Silent and clearly didn’t believe they were as good as people said, which was why he wanted to teach him a lesson.
Of course, Nightwind wasn’t all talk, he had the skills to back it up.
It was a four person map, with both players taking the top left and bottom right respectively. Silent picked random as always, and got Humans.
The chat was going wild.
“Randomed Humans, not bad, he has a chance.”
“Yeah, luckily he didn’t get Undead or Night Elves.”
“Let’s see what Silent does, I think Humans aren’t the best.”
A majority of players were still trying to figure out the game, many felt that Orcs were the strongest, followed by Humans, and the Undead were the weakest.
Many were worried that wouldn’t it suck if Silent got Undead or Night Elves and lost?
Both players started as usual, Orc goes for Blademaster, Humans going for Archmage.
It didn’t take long before Silent scout the location of the Orcs. He then built a Farm in front of his base, running away when the Blademaster went after the peasant.
