"So you like getting your hands dirty?" I asked her with the way she's playing with the sand.
She looked up quickly. I know she wasn't expecting anyone in here, talk more of the person been me. She stood up and moved back like I'm some fire to her wood. She looked around and I know she's looking for the guard who brought her. Not finding him, she looked at me like I'm some sort of ghost. It was obvious she was sizing me up with the way her eyes is moving. I'm very used to this. Even I myself was really dumbfounded the first time I looked at myself in a mirror years ago. I was always afraid to see the mirror been that I live a very tough life and haven't seen myself since I was eight.
My hair was so unkempt when I got to hiddenville pack. At first they thought me to be a rouge but I wouldn't attack them. The alpha been a nice person, he took me in and questioned me. I didn't tell him much aside my family has been killed. It was then he made them clean me up because he wanted to see my face clear. By the time I was brought back, I saw the look on his face and I thought he was making fun of me. I was so reluctant to see the mirror untill he forced me to. I was wowed. As bad as I didn't keep my hair, it was as if I do take care of it every second. If anyone was told that I've been walking from pack to pack in years, he would have disagreed and call whoever said it a big liar. I was looking so much like a pampered prince. Ever since, I had taken it upon myself to take care of myself even in my homelessness. I think the moon goddess gifted me this look and body as a compensation for all I've gone through. So I wouldn't scold her for looking at me. I know I'm indeed attractive.
"Don't you want to talk to me?" I asked her when I saw her move back again.
I know she must have remembered who is standing in front of her. The so called demon Alpha. She shook her head at my question.
"You were not mute yesterday. How then did you suddenly become mute?" I asked.
" That was before I know who you are" she says staring at me with her big bright eyes.
"And have I swallowed you since then?" I asked her.
" You still can" she grumbled.
"What did you say?" I asked as if I didn't hear her.
" Nothing" she said shaking her head.
She was wriggling her fingers. I removed my gloves and gave it to her. "Take, you don't have to get your nails dirty".
She smiled looking at her stained fingers. " I love to get them dirty in the garden. It gives me sense of satisfaction" she said.
Her smiles shows purity that I couldn't help but to keep looking at her. I wished she's not someone I'm prohited to move close to. Her company is somehow satisfying. She bent down to finish what she was doing while I wore my gloves back and continue my slow walk round the garden. After a while I saw her fall by my side removing the dirt in her fingernails with her other fingernails. I should have told her where to go wash them but I didn't. It none of my business. I shouldn't be too friendly with her. Even though she's innocent in the matter of my revenge, that doesn't me she's still not an enemy.
"You like gardens, don't you?" She asked me.
" I thought you are scared of me?" I asked blankly.
" Yes I am" she replied casually.
I looked at her she and didn't see any traces of her been scared. She then stretched her hand towards me as if she knew what I was thinking. Now I believed her. The hand she stretched was shaking violently.
"I just know how to hide my fears" she said and hid her hand behind her.
I didn't say anything.
"I have a lot of questions to ask" she said.
" I didn't come here for you".
I didn't even look at her. I just continued walking.
"I know but you and I is here together. It will look so awkward if we don't talk to each other and moreover, talking ease my tensed body" she rushed out.
