Suddenly, Xia Chuyi thought of a possibility and asked him, “Huo Shiqian, tell me the truth, you didn’t write me a letter today as well, did you?”

She couldn’t help but want to say something. The warmth from Huo Shiqian’s remaining body heat in the coat suddenly warmed her.
But in the end, she said nothing.
Xia Chuyi gathered the coat closer and accidentally looked down to see specks of mud on it—stains from when Huo Shiqian had embraced her.

They also said it was such a pity that there was no suitable match for Xia Chuyi among his subordinates.
After a long discussion, that last statement turned out to be the crux of the matter.
Xia Chuyi listened with a mix of laughter and tears.
She really couldn’t understand how all the preceding praises of Huo Shiqian ended up being linked to whether or not there was someone suitable for Xia Chuyi among his men.
