Hearing Xia Chuyi’s words, Uncle Xia realized what she meant and nodded vehemently, "Right, Huo Commander is not the kind of person to deceive anyone."
The doctor, half believing and half doubting, began to prepare for the surgery.
After informing the doctor, the group hurried back to the ward.

She was overwhelmed with excitement.
"The doctor said that with Professor Guo here, there’s a fifty percent chance of success for the surgery!" Aunt Xia, wiping her tears, cried and laughed at the same time.
Fifty percent... Xia Chuyi’s heart trembled.
In her excitement, she had nearly forgotten that the chance of a successful surgery was only fifty percent.
A fifty percent chance meant equal odds of life and death.
But even that fifty percent chance made Uncle Xia and Aunt Xia rejoice.

"Knock knock knock." The ward door was tapped lightly, and she looked up.

Professor Guo was a lean, elderly man and indeed had a very bad temper, with a stern face he directly asked, "Where’s the patient?"
