Grey and City Lord Vaughn collapsed to the ground as soon as the Elemental Warrior dissipated. Their bodies arched greatly as they were badly battered by the attacks of the Elemental Warrior. Even Lord Harry was no better, both his legs were broken, the bones could be seen piercing through his legs. One of his arms was completely missing, obviously a result of the battle.
Panting heavily, Grey turned his head to look at his right, sensing fast approaching auras, he calmed himself, he sealed off his pain receptors to ensure that he wouldn't pass out from the pains he felt all over his body. Of course, he wasn't really bothered as Void and the bunny leader were still hiding. Even the Elemental Warrior which was a Peak level existence didn't notice the duo when they helped out during the fight. He dragged his body up as he gazed coldly at the approaching figures.
The dots quickly came to view, a group of six stopped a kilometer away from where the battle took place. Looking at the result of the battle, the group of six shuddered. Their gazes soon landed on the bloodied Grey and City Lord Vaughn. Unlike Grey, City Lord Vaughn didn't have the strength to even stand, he got into a sitting position, staring coldly at the group who just arrived.
The group of six consisted of two young men, a young lady, a middle-aged man and woman, and an old lady leading them. The strongest person in the group is unsurprisingly the Old lady who was leading them, she was a Fourth stage Sovereign, and with the exception of the middle-aged man and woman, one of the young men was a First stage Sovereign while the remaining two from the group were still at the Peak of the Venerable Plane.
This group isn't strong, but with the current condition of both Grey and City Lord Vaughn, they could barely put up a fight against them. However, contrary to what Grey expected, they didn't attack, rather, turning to leave.
City Lord Vaughn heaved a sigh of relief, but Grey's gaze turned colder, this was because he could still sense the auras of more people, all rapidly approaching. From his estimates, there were at least fifteen people coming. Adding the six, that's a total of twenty-one. The group of six didn't leave, rather they went to the side to wait.
Seeing this, City Lord Vaughn's expression changed. Like Grey, he could still sense the fast approaching auras. He knew why these people were here, and the thought of it infuriated him. They just fought a desperate battle that almost cost them their lives, of the two invited City Lords, one of them was confirmed dead, and the life and death of the other is unknown at the moment. Lord Harry was seriously injured, the same could be said for Grey as well.
Grey didn't panic, silently looking around. He didn't have any reason to be afraid. Even if Void and the bunny leader weren't here, he would've still been able to escape alive. Of course, the safety of City Lord Vaughn and Lord Harry would not be his concern then. However, he didn't need to worry about this since Void and the bunny leader barely spent any energy against the Elemental Warrior. They were both top experts comparable to a Seventh stage Sovereign, Void especially. The bunny leader didn't like fighting, this didn't take away its threat. In fact, it was even more difficult to deal with than Void! And it's all thanks to its battalions of Bunnies. Over the time it has been with Grey, it has absorbed well over a thousand Bunnies into its army and it could summon them at any time!
The fifteen auras soon arrived. Looking at the outcome of the battle, they all sucked in a deep breath. They could tell that the powerhouses involved in this fight were definitely very powerful. Their eyes soon turned to Grey's group who were on the ground. City Lord Vaughn had managed to stand up, walking over to Lord Harry's direction.
Lord Harry might be injured, but he still had the energy to speak, seeing everyone staring at them like hungry wolves, he opened his mouth, "Friends, I am the Vice City Lord of Raging Flames City, and this is City Lord Vaughn, we just fought against a dangerous opponent and would like some peace so we can treat our injuries."
Lord Harry was a smart man, this was still within the Raging Flames Region, and being the City Lord and Vice City Lord of the Capital City in the Region made them well-known across the region. As long as he let these people know of their identities, he didn't believe they would dare to attack them.
Unfortunately, Lord Harry's words didn't arouse any reaction from the crowd. Just when he was about to speak again, the Old lady from the first group stepped forward to take a good look at City Lord Vaughn who was standing by Lord Harry's side.
"Sir City Lord!" She exclaimed in shock. Although this place was far from Raging Flames City, most of the inhabitants of the region have been to Raging Flames City, especially those in the Sovereign Plane.
This Old lady recognized City Lord Vaughn immediately Lord Harry told them their identities. She couldn't be blamed for not recognizing him at first glance. City Lord Vaughn was currently covered from head to toe in his own blood, not just him, the same could be said for both Grey and Lord Harry. Only now that she was reminded did she realize that the bloodied figure indeed looked like the City Lord of Raging Flames City.
The expressions of a few of the new arrivals changed as they realized the identity of the group.
"No need for any formalities." City Lord Vaughn waved his hand weakly as he noticed the Old lady was about to bow. It isn't because he could afford to see this old lady bow to him, rather, all he wanted at the moment was for all of them to leave. Why would he be concerned about stupid etiquettes when his life is barely hanging by a thread. If he didn't start dealing with his injuries soon, they might become life-threatening.
