The building wasn't large, only around fifty to sixty square meters, having a few small rooms. Looking around, Grey noticed that they were in an empty hall, seeing the doors around, he knew that whatever treasures were here were all kept in these rooms.
City Lord Vaughn looked around and inquired, "Would you all like to investigate each room together or should we all move separately?"
If they moved in a group, then whatever is found would be shared by each of them. However, if they started to explore each room on their own, then the chances of some of them returning empty-handed was quite high. Of course, this also means that some people will benefit more.
City Lord Vaughn glanced at Lord Harry who didn't utter a word and moved closer to him, they were long time friends, and also the City and Vice City Lords of Raging Flames City, so it's normal that he wanted to move with City Lord Vaughn. And although City Lord Vaughn is powerful, the two City Lords believed that if push came to shove, they'd be able to take down City Lord Vaughn on their own. As long as Grey could deal with Lord Harry, that is.
City Lord Vaughn made his move, stretching his hand toward the first table. As soon as his hand got close, a sense of danger came, causing him to pause for only about a second. They didn't have any idea what the space element was, so seeing the first scroll and what it contained, they didn't show much of a reaction. This was also the same reason Grey made sure he didn't show any reactions too. As long as these people didn't know how important this scroll was, then it would be easy for Grey to take it when they were sharing the treasures.
This fiery bead contained a pure fire elemental essence, and being the City Lord of Raging Flames City, it's quite easy to tell how attractive this was going to be for City Lord Vaughn.
