Grey didn't know why Jacob Vaergahl was so adamant about lending a helping hand to the Vaergahl Family.
"As long as it's convenient, I will not stand by the side and watch if your family ever gets into any troubles."
Jacob Vaergahl knew that Grey was making a prefecturenary reply. With the strength of the Vaergahl Family, there's no way Grey can be of any help to them at the moment. However, Jacob Vaergahl believed that in the future, as long as Grey inherited his lifelong work, then he would definitely be able to break through the shackles of this world. At that time, being the first God Plane Elementalist in thousands of years would immediately elevate Grey and anyone close to him to the pinnacle of the Aurora Continent. If he didn't die, he would've been the one to get this and also elevate the Vaergahl Family. Alas, fate was cruel to him and didn't let a world shaking genius like himself reach his peak.

After giving it more thought, Grey concluded that it was because the former didn't get to the God Plane, while the latter was a shocking genius. Being able to control every element shows just how much of a genius the Chaos God truly was. The Chaos God was not just able to use all elements, even his orb was able to assist anyone that met its requirements to also have that same ability.
Jacob's spiritual consciousness would definitely become exhausted soon, so without any further delay, he went to work. He told Grey to access his storage ring and take out only a single item, a silver box made from a strange material that looked like ice. Grey was unfamiliar with it, but the second he brought it out, he felt an extreme chill spread across the cave.
Grey looked at the box that was radiating a chill that filled his heart with dread.
"Senior, what's this box made of?" Grey asked, still a little afraid of the box.
Hearing the materials, Grey was unfamiliar with them barring two things. The heart and core of a Half God Plane Ice Dragon, and the body of a Seelie that was also equivalent to a Half God Plane Elementalists.
Grey sucked in a deep breath when he heard these two things. A Half God Plane Dragon's heart and core could be deemed as invaluable in the Aurora Continent. No one in the Aurora Continent could dare to say that they made a box with the core and heart of a peak existence like a Half God Plane Dragon and Seelie. The thought alone was mind-blowing.
Jacob laughed when he noticed Grey's expression, he knew he wanted to ask, so he explained to save him the shock, "Sir Astarot was the one who gifted the Dragon's heart and core to me. As for the Seelie, you can say it's all due to a series of coincidences."
Grey and Jacob had almost the same lifestyle, just from different eras. Both being top geniuses, they tend to travel a lot for experience. The perks of traveling a lot meant that they get to see a lot of good things during their journey. Of course, there's also the fear of death. But geniuses like Grey and Jacob would rather die outside than stay trapped somewhere.
Even towards his death, Jacob opted to enter this secret world in search of greater strength. He could've stayed in the Vaergahl Family to try to heal after he was ambushed the first time. However, he knew that they didn't have the ability to heal him. He didn't want to accept his fate so he came to Sir Astarot instead of going to his family. Even Sir Astarot was clueless against this telling him that only a breakthrough could save him.
The Half God Plane isn't something that just anyone could enter. Even the Sovereign Plane has acted as an obstacle to countless geniuses over the course of human history, much less a Plane far more difficult to reach.
If he wasn't once again attacked here, his chances were quite high, around thirty percent. If not for the injury from the first attack, he would've had at least a fifty percent chance. Even a genius like Lucas Dawson wouldn't dare to say that he had a fifty percent chance to break through to the Half God Plane when he was at the Peak of the Sovereign Plane. As a genius, Lucas was only about thirty five percent certain that he'll break through to the Half God Plane at the time of his attempt.
"How do I open the box?" Grey had tried to touch the box, but his fingers started to show signs of becoming frozen. Even when he brought it out, his mental energy was showing signs of being frozen. If he hadn't hurriedly withdrawn his mental energy, he would've been injured.
Jacob Vaergahl told Grey about the hand seals needed to open the box. Grey didn't waste any time and immediately went to work.
The seals weren't complicated, and since Grey was already an arraymaster, it didn't take long before the box made a creaking sound. As the lid indicated that it was no longer sealed and could be opened, Grey's blood started to pump faster, seemingly as if it had seen something that it desperately needed. This wasn't a need from Grey's desire to grow stronger, rather, his blood itself wanted whatever was inside the silver box.
He wanted to inquire about the content of the box, but he felt that opening it would be better. Placing his hand on the lid of the box, he slowly opened it.
