The shock was spinning in the heads of every official as they watched the battle, their eyes locked onto the body of one of their A-Grade Officers, brutally beaten and pinned to the ground by an ice sword.
Their horror intensified as they turned to the figure still standing.
Immediately, terror painted their faces as they watched Ryuk, who seemingly looked downward with furrowed eyebrows, his gaze piercing through the TV screen as if staring directly at each of them.
"I'm here for MadWhite..." he said once more before his figure seemingly warped and faded into nothing.
But even without the mere sight of him, they could still feel the horrifying pressure that was descending onto them.
"Our Location has been exposed!"
"Send the notification! Sir Yituro has been defeated! We need a new—"
"An A-Grade Titan Official has been defeated by the intruder!"
"Backup from other A-Grade Titans needed immediately!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
A powerful wave of energy erupted forward as a figure descended onto the hall of holograms.
"Found You!" left Ryuk's lips, and immediately—
His image was torn through by a laser beam that suddenly shot down form the ceiling.
VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
Ryuk's figure faded, warping as he reappeared behind an official, throwing him up into the air before he could react.
His body slammed against the nozzle of the laser gun, shattering it apart.
But this was only the beginning.
Ryuk became a ghost, flickering around the hall.
Screams and noises resonated from panic-stricken officials as laser beams shot in his direction—only to end up tearing through the Titans instead.
Ryuk used their bodies as weapons to break the rest of them.
All of this chaos was witnessed by a single female Titan who quaked in her boots as she saw the destruction unfolding before her.
Her eyes widened in shock, her body refusing to move.
She watched as the Titans—supposedly the strongest warriors—were taken down one by one by the intruder.
And in just one minute and a few more seconds, there was none left standing.
All around him, the battered and bloodied figures of the Titans lay motionless, beaten before they could even shift into their Titan forms.
Slowly, Ryuk turned to the last person he had left untouched on purpose. As he walked towards her, an intense frost oozed from his nose and lips.
Roina could do nothing but stare blankly at Ryuk, whose gaze lingered on her for a while before he crouched down, his eyes locking into hers.
His voice echoed out, the same words he had repeated since arriving here.
He just wanted MadWhite. Nothing more.
"Prison 3AAA, on the 9th floor..." she said, her finger pointing to the side.
Ryuk slowly turned his gaze in that direction and found an elevator.
He returned his gaze to the lady, whose face was half-covered in horror, a single line of tears forming in her left eye.
She awaited her end, knowing well that his next move could send her to the next world.
But to her surprise, his hand moved, gently landing on her head and patting it twice.
He said with a childish smile before rising up and heading towards the elevator.
DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
The sound of the elevator opening resonated.
Ryuk stepped in, tapping the number 9 before the elevator doors shut, whisking him downward.
The only person remaining was Roina, who couldn't take her gaze off the elevator where he had disappeared.
Slowly, she turned her head, looking at the ruined hall filled with the bodies of Titans.
"Who... what just happened?"
The sound of heavy explosions resonated as Ryuk's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes fixed on the ceiling of the elevator.
The brilliant white light flickered to red, then to pitch black at times.
He could feel the entire elevator shaking from the powerful explosions happening deep underground, piquing his curiosity.
As the elevator continued descending, his eyes narrowed.
The magnitude of the explosions didn't pale in comparison to what he had previously caused himself, making his expression darken even more.
Ryuk called out, and the stats panel appeared.

The system notification flashed, and Ryuk focused on the endurance panel.
"I don't have much endurance left. Two more Abyssal transformations, and I'll be completely spent..."
He mused to himself, preparing for another battle. But he also knew that he had already lost almost half of his endurance and mana.
He had to be careful from now on.
After what seemed like an eternity, the elevator finally came to a halt.
At the same time, the heavy explosions paused, and the elevator doors slowly opened.
There, in front of him, was the back of a figure.
The figure collapsed.
Half of his body fell into the elevator, just a few inches before Ryuk's feet.
Ryuk looked down at the person.
It was a red-haired figure with a completely battered face.
But it wasn't the bruises of a punch.
Instead, three holes had torn through his right eye, his side jaw, and his nose—so deep that Ryuk could see his bubbling white brain through the wounds.
Following his gaze down the man's body, it didn't hold much flesh.
He was holed all over, making the other side behind him clearly visible.
Ryuk looked into his eyes—eyes that were slowly losing colour.
All he saw was regrets and...horror.
Spine-chilling horror!
And soon, the man's eyes completely lost their colour as he took his final breath.
Ryuk slowly turned his gaze away from him and looked deeper into the area beyond the darkness.
There, covered in crimson, a figure stood—melding into the darkness itself.
A figure that felt both familiar… yet distant.
The sound of footsteps rang out louder as the figure, whoever it was, slowly stepped out of the darkness.
