To be honest, the echo’s words, with messages about the Star God, the Demon of the Abyss, and the bleak future of this universe, indeed left Ian profoundly shocked.
However, there’s one point that Ian never believed from the start, which led him to doubt the authenticity of the information from the echo.
And that is ’The Star God is dead.’
The Star God can’t be dead. This is the point Ian is most certain about.
No matter what the essence of the Star God’s life is, they are super beings strong enough to create the ’Great Aether Circulation’ that spans space and time, their creations, the ’Ether System’ capable of rewriting the universe’s rules, are still functioning well enough to be used by all life forms, how can they possibly be dead?
The Aether is the Star God’s weapon, knowledge base, means of transportation, work method... It can even be said that the Aether is a part of the Star God!
No matter how lacking in wisdom the Demon of the Abyss might be, it is simply a natural disaster, it couldn’t have merely destroyed the Star God without touching the Ether System. That’s impossible.
So, as long as the Origin Quality and Spirit Energy, as well as the Ether System, are still operational, Ian is convinced that the Star God is absolutely not dead.
They... might just be temporarily retreating, much like how they built the ’Cradle’ and ’Star Prison Tianyu’ to deceive the Demon of the Abyss, tricking the enemies into thinking they no longer exist, then observing their reactions.
Besides, Ian has another fairly outlandish conjecture in his mind.
That is about his Heart Light Body ’Guiding Star’ conjecture.
Ian’s Heart Light Body Guiding Star can search for information from parallel space-times, thereby obtaining data on other possibilities of himself and exchanging with them.
Although it has only connected with his self from two parallel space-times, Ian has already explored countless possibilities.
And all these infinite parallel space-times... are all enveloped by the ’Great Aether Circulation.’
’Aether’ is not an existence of a single universe’s space-time, it is a ’super-spatial construct’ that transcends the universe itself and spans infinite parallel space-times!
(The Star God... might indeed have left our universe.)
The youth murmured in his heart: (So even the fact that I became a pioneer cannot be responded to)
(But this doesn’t mean they don’t exist in other parallel space-times... To say no more, infinite parallel space-times mean infinite possibilities, maybe the Star God of our universe lost, but the Star God in other parallel universes might have won?)
(No, could it be possible that the Star God is a form of life that can traverse different parallel space-times? And their departure is just to temporarily hide in other parallel space-times?)

All these are possible things.
Compared to the despair of the echo, because of a broader view and access to more information, Ian always remains ’optimistic.’

With such a powerful Heart Light Body and Spirit Energy, ’Prophet Ian the Second’ absolutely would not succumb to despair and give up resistance like the echo did!

With this thought in mind, Ian braced himself, preparing to thoroughly examine the gains after defeating the last echo.
However, just as Ian was about to retrieve the ’Soul of Origin’, he suddenly paused.
