Ariana stood at the door with her eyes almost leaving their socket. She was about to say something but she ended up choking on her spit.
She didn't expect to see him here. The feeling was overwhelming. She clutched her cloth in an attempt to stop her throbbing heart. The smile on his face was enough to melt away her problems and the smell of his perfume could cleanse all the negative thoughts in any sane girl's head.
She moved back and supported herself with the door. His presence could send Aria into a love coma and he was just a sex worker!
"H..hi-" She stuttered as she held the door for support.
It felt like she was going to give up and fall on the floor. He was way taller than she was. Aria had to look up at him before she could talk to him.
"Nice dress," he complimented and she looked down at her dress.
It barely came down below her thigh so She had to drag it down every second.
"Why did you come to my house? And how did you locate it?" She said ignoring his compliments as her cheeks got red.
"Won't you let me in? It's cold out here," He said before he faked to rub his hands together. He made it seem like it was truly cold.
Fallen for his tricks, her humanity and guilty conscience let him in. "Come in."
"Nice apartment you have here, " he complimented, Calhoun helped himself to a chair and some water.
Calhoun watched from the corner of his eyes as she took in his view.
Aria watched as every drop of water entered his mouth. And followed the movement of his throat as he swallowed it.
She wanted to kiss every last bit of his mouth. The taste of his sweet lips was another form of medicine to Aria's brain. It made her go crazy sending a million scream waves to her head but she suppressed it.
He dropped the glass of water, he ran his hands through his hair before he smiled at Aria.
His sweet smile warmed her heart and she felt like her legs were going to buckle again and this time she was going to actually fall. She found the nearest chair beside her and sat down.
The gown was already underneath her buttocks, luckily she was on the couch so she covered her upper leg.
"Why are you here? I thought I told you I want nothing to do with you?" She said feigning anger.
"Because I wanted to see you, " he said briefly with his unmoving smile.
She felt her heart make a somersault.
"You have seen me now please leave," She said as she pointed to the door.
"I saw the news I just wanted to sympathize with you, " he lied.
He just wanted more information on her relationship with Ethan. So he could find a way to enter her life.
Ariana shifted slightly on the chair. The thoughts of Ethan came back to her mind. She had long forgotten about him when Lisa came.
But on the other hand, she was also disappointed. It actually sent a feeling of excitement that someone was stalking her. But he probably saw her address on the video.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he studied her face. He couldn't make out what she was currently feeling.
"What happened between you two? " He asked with a softened voice. Still silence.
He knew she wouldn't tell him what actually happened so he brought up that sentence that could make a girl trust you immediately.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I respect your feelings. I'm sorry," he apologized to Aria.
"No! no it's fine. If you want to hear my sappy story it's fine, " she said before she started to play with the hem of her short dress.
"Please, I'll love to hear it." His smile was so warming, she couldn't refuse him. Besides she had nothing to lose. This was just a guy she paid to sleep with her. He wasn't anybody important.
"He cheated on me with my supposed best friend and he didn't even try to stop me when I caught them together," she said before she swallowed her tears. She thought she had gotten over it. But as soon as she opened her mouth the pain returned stronger than ever.
It felt like her throat was carrying a heavyweight that needed to be removed. It kept coming back.
Calhoun rubbed a hand to his jaw as he analyzed what she said. It was a breakup session and she refused to go back to him. He probably came back to beg her with expensive gifts, but she had already decided she wasn't going back to him -which Calhoun realized it was a good thing for him.
Aria wasn't swayed by money and once she decided she acted upon it.
His newfound discoveries about her were very satisfying. She was perfect to be his bride.
Aria dabbed a face towel to her tears before she continued to speak.
"I'm tired of everything, " She said before she look down at her hands.
"That's why you came to the bar on Sunday, " He said with his voice thicker than ever. Somehow, he also discovered he hated seeing her in tears.
But his voice had the wrong effect on her body. Without warning her core tightened and her nipples tingled. The memories of her own moans made her squeeze her eyes in embarrassment.
"In some way don't you feel like you also cheated on him, " he said before he clicked his tongue.
"Well what's done has already been done we cannot cry over spilled milk," Aria added before she heaved a sigh.
For the first time, Aria actually stared at what he was wearing.
His shoe looked like it would buy her house. The shining shoe was matched with the most expensive suit she had ever seen in real life.
"Nice suit," She said still monitoring the outfit. She cocked her head to the side wondering where he would have gotten money for such expensive clothing. He must have been a really rich client.
"Thanks my grandma gifted it to me on my birthday." He adjusted the suit before he checked the time so he could start going.
"I have to get going, " he said with a deep sexy voice.
Ariana felt a wave of sadness as he announced his leave.
He stood up from the couch and she followed after him.
"I'll walk you outside, " Aria said with a sad tone.
She ignored the fact that her gown was short and she still followed him.
"Wait, " he stopped as they got to the entrance of her house.
"I'll go from here, " he said as she held the door.
He bent down to her level and kissed her forehead. "Good night," He whispered to a very shocked Aria.
