Sofia had been given ill-treatment by Ethan. The coldness he showed towards her still gave her shivers. He even denied her access to his office, Sofia whined as the scenario still replayed in her head.
She started the car and headed home to soak herself in a hot bath to cleanse herself from the disgraceful event she had just experienced.
Sofia couldn't help but think about the act of cruelty that had been done to her by Ethan and Kelvin —Yes, even that fool.
"That dimwitted kelvin dared to allow his boss to treat me that way! The fool couldn't even defend me!"
"Oh! Kelvin after all the fat tips I gave to you and my good gesture towards you. You still had the guts to kick me out of his office! you will definitely pay for what you did, and I will make sure of that!" She said to herself as she drove through the almost empty road.
At this point, Sofia was filled with rage as she pressed her legs on the accelerator and sped up as fast as she could.
Luckily, she managed to get home in one piece without incurring any form of accident. It is a miracle she survived driving at that high speed.
In her unease state of mind, getting to the front door, it took her approximately ten minutes to find the entrance key that was just sitting among the items in her Gucci bag.
After a long rattling of her bag, Sofia successfully won the battle and make her way into her condo.
She dropped her bags on the floor, She threw her phone on the couch. She weakly walked up to her room and she gave out a loud sigh.
Her eyes were already puffy from all the crying and her throat was parched from the screaming.
She kicked off her heels and took off all the clothes she wore remaining completely clad.
She kicked the clothes inside and walked to her bedside and poured herself some water to drink.
She emptied the entire jug and placed the glass cup on the table where she met it.
She walked to her bathroom and drowned herself in the warm water. The feeling was like mini heaven. The water touched and caressed every part of her body. Definitely what she needed after such a dreadful day. She stayed in the tub for ten more minutes before she came out.
Sofia wrapped her robe around her body before she collapsed on the bed. Before she could realize it, she slept off.
The sleep realm was so comfortable and soothing that Sofia refused to open her eyes. Then she remembered she had somewhere to go.
Her eyes widened as she immediately stood up from the bed. She looked around and she sighted her scattered clothes on the floor.
She glared up from where she stood, The clock was situated in the middle of the room so she wouldn't strain herself when she wanted to look up at the clock. Lazy and innovative at the same time. The time read seven pm. It was already time to get ready to leave.
Sofia walked towards her closet of millions of outfits like a sluggish mammoth who had just finished hibernating.
She scoured through her hefty pile of clothes Sofia finally found a simple cloth for the evening dinner with Alice. Her sister was always dressed for any occasion so she had to dress up to her standard if she wanted to meet her. Sofia was already a fashion icon as she already was, but it was certainly another type of electricity when she got home. Her elder sister was what one will call vogue as a person.

"I'm done preparing the dishes and arranging the dinner table, is there any other thing you want to be done?" The girl asked with a cool tone as she cleaned up the little water she spilled.
"No Margarita I think that's all. you are free for today, I will take over from here," Alice responded softly with a slight wave of her hands as she struggled away from her study desk.
"Okay Ma'am have a good night's rest." Margarita retreated still with the wet rags in her arms as went in to get ready to head home.
"Now why is this young lady taking forever to get here?" Alice said to herself as she moved over to the table to check what Margarita had prepared for the evening.
She opened one of the plates and the sweet smell of potato soup hit her nose with hints of cinnamon to the aroma. Margarita was such a good cook and that was also one of the reasons why she hired her.
"Smells and tastes nice Maggie, " she said before she licked off the spoon.
"Thanks, that's really a nice thing," She said as she blushed from the compliment.
A light knock was placed on her door followed by a ring of the doorbell.
That must be her— she rejoiced in her head.
"Margarita! can you get the door before heading out," Alice ordered as she drowned herself in the ecstasy of the food.
"Okay miss Alice." Margarita hastened towards the door.
"Good evening Miss Sofia," Margarita greeted with a smile as bright as a lily.
"Evening Margarita, " Sofia responded with a dull tone.
"Are you okay Miss Sofia your face looks pale?" Margarita asked as she summarised
"I'm fine Margarita my day has just been stressful," Sofia replied as she walked straight to the dining table.
"Sofia baby you look horrible," Alice beamed making an irritating face as she set her eyes on Sofia. Her eyes were red and puffy making Alice scrutinized.
"I know sis, that's what I get from trying to win a man's heart." She heaved a sigh as she placed her right on her
"Hmmm," Alice said warmly
"Firstly I need you to get some food into that belle of yours, I don't want you to die on me". Alice chuckled as she served the dish she was Cascading through a minute ago.
