Third Person
Its funny how I managed to live such a miserable and being the stupid fool I was I never told anyone, I just hope I will meet Khloe one day to just spend time with her and let her know am now okay. Ariana thinks to herself
"Hey, you little creature." She turned and came face to face with those brown chocolate eyes that she always admired.
"Hey Zander, did you miss me that much?"
"Of course babe who wouldn't miss you, so how was your interview?"
"Well the building was so lovely but the CEO is an arrogant prick. He is so rude and ughhh" She threw her hands in the air with an irritated expression on her face.
"And who are you talking about if you don't mind me asking?"
"Well it's no other than Xavier King, of course he was lucky I was looking for cause I would have certainly broken his nose."
"You are talking about the Xavier King, are you out of your mind have you seen him or you are just stupid come on that guy is so handsome, lets not forget the grey eyes they are to die for."
"Oh God, what do you even see in him? I just met him and talked to him for an hour and I already hate him-" Before she could finish she was interrupted by her phone.
"Hello."
"Hey Rian I just called to let you know that you got the job and you report for work tomorrow at 8 am."
"Wow thanks I didn't even think he would give me a chance, okay thanks I will be early tomorrow." She hung up with a smile and quickly hugged her friend.
"Woah what's this special treatment for sweetheart?" He said as he hugged her back. "I got the job, I got the job."
"Wow this is great news, why don't we celebrate the good news."
"I would love to but not today, I have to rest though I really enjoyed your company." Zander escorted her back and left her to rest for the night so that she could prepare for work
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
"Yeah yeah, I hear you little creature" She switched off the alarm clock and took a quick shower and looked for something appropriate and formal in her closet and finally found an attire.
Satisfied with her choice she left the house and headed to her workplace when she arrived she found Cassie who showed her what to and where her cabin was and gave her a tour.
"Wow this place is beautiful and looks so rich."
"You are one funny girl, well it's time for Mr. King to have his tea so you go make black coffee for him and remember no sugar."
"No wonder he's so harsh. Well, I better get going. I hope I won't get lost."
"Of course you won't go now."
She made his coffee and made her way to his office which she quickly opened the door and entered his and she could never get of admiring the office
"Just great you are late and there you're standing like a lost five year old." It was evidently clear he was angry.
"Hmm for someone who has such a beautiful office he sure has a bad temper." I mumbled to myself.
"Did you say something Miss Anderson?"
"Sorry sir but I was being given a tour. What do I have to do?"
"Get those files and arrange them. I hope that won't give you problems."
"No it won't, Sir." She picked up the files and left the room to get her work done and well she couldn't lie she loved her office not forgetting the brand new laptop and phone that was given to her.
"Miss Anderson, I want you to rewrite this report. It has a lot of mistakes in it." He handed me the paper.
"Mistakes but I made sure to read it through thrice. I don't think there are any mistakes." "Yes they are, you forgot the punctuation marks."
"Okay sir I will correct it."
I went back to my office and put the correct punctuation marks where they were needed once I was done I went back to him.
"Sir I'm done." I said as I placed the paper next to him.
He sighed and shook his head in disapproval. "I asked you to use a black pen not a blue pen and get it and use another paper not this one."
"Okay sir."
Once I was done rewriting everything in a black pen I knocked on his door and got it in. I placed the paper on the table. He looked at it and placed it aside. I gasped at his action with my eyes wide open. Did he rewrite everything so he could put it aside?
"Anything wrong Miss Anderson."
"Yes, in fact everything is wrong." I said, making him look up from his laptop. "Care to explain."
"You told me to rewrite that report twice but why didn't you even read it or at least look at it when I gave it to you."
"I will have a look at it when I want to, get out now," He said in a harsh tone.
Her first day was really tiring. She was given task after task to carry out but she did not get in trouble. When she was done she called it a day and her boss said goodbye. She was so eager to get home and wear something more relaxing.
Working with him is a really difficult full time job. First of all he's rude, inconsiderate and a jerk and I have to deal with him and his little mood swings, thank lord she got off early today.
Xavier's POV
I hate carrying out these interviews but I have no other choice. Fortunately she's the last one today has been really stressful and I can't wait to call it a day.
A Few minutes later I heard the door open but it seemed she just stood by the door cause I couldn't hear her steps anymore. Just great now I have to tell her to sit down. Is it so hard to do something so simple?
After telling her to sit down I asked her a few questions the usual but for this girl she was quite different because she didn't try to throw herself at me or dress inappropriately and she wasn't qualified for this job and i really don't want to hire incompetent people in my firm.
Just by looking at her one could tell she was beautiful but she just is not my type and I don't mix business with pleasure. But what really surprised me is she had the audacity to stand up to me. Nobody does that and she did.
After the interview I decided to go back to my work.
"Hey workaholic, how are you?" My annoying best friend Alex yelled as he barged without even caring to knock why am I not surprised.
"You are really wishing to end up in a hospital cause I can help you trust me."
"Well I would love to but am your bestfriend Xavier and It's my responsibility to get you out of this boredom and help you live a little." He rolled his eyes.
"Alex what do you want, as you can see I'm busy." He leaned back in his chair as he rubbed his forehead.
"Well what do you think? We go out to this exclusive club on Friday."
"Well I could use a distraction so yah I will go with just hope there will be no drama involved."
"Great, have you talked to your dad? He's been trying to talk to you."
"I don't want to talk to them right now all their ever is talk about marriage I'm fucking tired of having to hear the same thing."
"Well I might support them as long as it doesn't involve you getting married to Victoria, I just hate that girl."
"Come on, she's never done anything to you, why do you have to hate her so much?"
"Well cause she's an annoying bitch and not forgetting a spoiled brat." "Yeah right I'm heading home now are you joining me or-"
"Of course it's not everyday Xavier gets to be nice to someone." They went back home after having their dinner and went to sleep.
