Ethan couldn't believe what he was seeing or hearing, Aria had dared to send him out of her apartment. His own Aria that he loved above other women. She was treating him like dirt.
"Aria, please, let's talk about this calmly... I love you!" He whispered in pain. He felt like arrows were being thrown into his heart. It was never his intention to hurt Aria, he only did what he did to teach Sofia a lesson and nothing more. The woman he loved was Aria and nobody else could compare.
"I do not want to talk to you, Ethan! And never you say you love me because you never did! " Aria snapped, tears welling up her eyes. "You never did Ethan! You never loved me! If you ever did, you would never sleep with my best friend! Of all the women you have, you had to add her to the list Ethan, why?" Tears spilled from her eyes and she felt her heart break again like she was back to that moment she caught Ethan on top of Sofia. What was even more painful was the fact that even after she saw them, Ethan didn't try to stop. He continued like she didn't matter
"Aria, listen to me, why are you making a big deal out of these?" Ethan snapped and Aria wiped her tears staring at him with shock in her eyes.
"I shouldn't make a big deal out of these?" She asked as her heart beat increased even more in anger. "What would you have me do Ethan?" She asked, sniffing away her tears but before Ethan could answer her question, she replied herself.
"Oh, I know... Hold on," she said as she pulled the door widely open. She returned to the house and started picking up the shopping bags filled with the most expensive things she had ever seen. She got to the four where Ethan stood and threw the bags at him.
"Take your stupid gifts! I don't want them!" She returned to the house and grabbed even more bags and threw it at him.
"Aria, what are you doing?" Ethan asked shocked that she was throwing away such expensive gifts. "What has gotten into you?"
"I want nothing to do with you or anything that concerns you, Ethan! I have had enough!" She shrieked as she rained clothes on him.
"Aria, please, the neighbors are starting to come out, we can settle this amicably. I know you love me. You are just angry about this... Please let us talk about this," Ethan pleaded, his heart was also starting to thump as he realized that Aria was being serious.
True to his words some of her neighbors had come outside being drawn by the noise she was making and before he could tell, the police came over.
"I said leave!! Get out of here!" she barked wildly.
"Aria-" he started to say but the police officers who have arrived at the scene stopped hum.
"I am sorry sir, but we are going to ask you to leave," the young officer said firmly.
Ethan glared at the officer from head to toe, "this doesn't concern you, step aside I am speaking to my girlfriend."
"It's either you go into the house and lock the doors so the noise doesn't disturb the rest of your neighbors," the officer said, "otherwise I am going to have to ask you to leave."
"Aria let me-" once again he was interrupted by Aria's hands in the air. She threw more clothes in his face.
"Don't you dare say my name!" She hissed at him, then she turned to the officers "use, please ask him to leave my life alone! He is taking away my peace of mind and sanity!" Her voice shook but she stood her ground.
She was done trying to grow a life with Ethan. She was done forgiving him over and over like she had no better thing to do in life. She was done with every damn thing that had to do with Ethan.
"You heard the lady sir, please leave," the officer said showing him the elevator doors.
"Aria, this is wrong!" Ethan barked but the officers were already shoving him away from Aria's apartment.
"Aria, this is not you! I know you love me!" He continued screaming but Aria had closed her door and shit him out of her life forever.
Another officer parked all the clothes and bags scattered by Aria's door and took them to Ethan's car. As soon as he opened the door, they dumped all his stuff into the back seat and asked him to leave the premises.
The officer that had spoken to Ethan firmly, walked back to Aria's apartment and gently knocked. "Ma'am it's the police," he said his voice booming in the vast and empty corridor
Aria cleaned her face and went to open the door for the officer.
"May I come in?" The man asked
Aria nodded biting her bottom lip, "sure, come in," she sniffed.
The officer went into the house and malaria showed him to a chair.
"How may I help you?" She asked, wiping her wet eyes with the back of her hands.
The officer dipped his hands in his pocket and handed her a tissue. "Here, use this," he offered kindly.
She took it and wiped at her face and nose which had turned red with all the tears. "Thank you," she whispered
The officer waited for her to calm herself a bit before he started speaking. "Ma'am, is he your boyfriend?" He asked gently.
"He was..." She croaked out.
The man nodded his head in understanding and dipped his hands in his pocket again to bring out a small card. "If he continues given you problems, please do not hesitate to file a case against him. He has no right to harass you like this," he said handing her the card.
Aria took the card from his outstretched hands. "Thank you," she whispered.
