Matt truly had nothing important to say. He only wanted to lure her into the room somehow and then try to seduce her but she was acting so strong he couldn't even find a good point to start his seduction. She looked like she was going to slap him Red if he dared touch a wrong part of her body.
"You know what?" He suddenly said, taking a step back. "You are right. We can talk about this tomorrow..." he said.
"So, you won't kill yourself anymore?" She asked in a high-pitched tone. Ariana would admit that when he did mention that, she really thought he was going to kill himself overnight. But now, she knew better. He was just another minion sent by his mother.
"For you, I will stay awake," He whispered staring intently into her eyes. He took a dramatic bow as he turned to leave. "Have a pleasant night Ariana Brown. We shall talk tomorrow."
"Goodnight, Matt!" Ariana whispered. She stood there by the door watching him take the bend to his room.
For some reason, she didn't want to leave just yet. It felt like he was going to return. And maybe force his way into her room. God knew what Lily would say if she walked in at that moment. He didn't have to do much, all Lily needed was proof.
When Ariana was satisfied, she unlocked her door and slipped in as fast as possible. She couldn't wait for Calhoun to return. The house was truly becoming unsafe without him.
Ariana woke up to the sound of a horn by her bedroom window. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and stretched out of bed.
"What is going on now?" She mumbled with sleep as she walked to the window to check who it was.
The sight in front of her was enough to make her run out of the room with her night dress. It was an arrangement of flowers that formed three letters.
'I missed you'
The maids giggled as they saw her running out of the house to the back of her window. The rest of the house was still asleep and she was grateful for that for she couldn't imagine what grandmother would have thought of her if she was seen running around in her sleeping attire.
Ariana got to the bottom of her window and wiped her head around to find the culprit. Suddenly, she felt warm hands around her waist. The smell of his cologne reached her nose and she smiled.
"Calhoun!"
"My love, did you miss me too?" He whispered to her ear.
Ariana turned around in his arms so she was now looking straight into his face. Her smile reached her eyes and the butterflies in her stomach refused to be controlled. She crashed her lips against his and kissed him with all the love she had for him.
Calhoun pulled her waist and kissed her back with as much passion. He had missed her his Ariana. All the time he was in that cursed place, all he cared about was the taste of her lips and he wasn't disappointed. The sweetness was there and more.
"I missed you so much..." she whispered as she pulled back for air.
Calhoun was grinning from ear to ear. He had wanted to surprise her and it got her perfectly. "Let's go to our room, my love," he whispered to her.
She nodded shyly and made to move away from him but he held her in place. He lifted her bridal style and she shrieked in shock. "Carlhoun, grandfather might see us!" She warned as her hands held on to his neck.
"Grandfather would just have to give me a few hours or I will have a bone down my pants all day long! Do you know how sexy you are?" He added as he placed kisses on her hands.
He started into the house. The maids tried not to pay them any attention but it was impossible to ignore such a cute couple. Plus none of them had thought they would live to see the day, master Calhoun, the young president would bring a girl home and actually fall for her this deep. It was like watching impossible feet come to reality.
As Calhoun and Ariana got to the corridor, he noticed the door was closed. "I hope you didn't lock us out for I can take you in the corridor if you did," He joked but deep down he really hoped she hadn't forgotten the key inside.
"No, I left it open..." Ariana whispered. It felt like she was in that bar again. She was drunk in love with Calhoun and whatever he said was always like music to her ears.
Calhoun pushed the door and what he saw made him freeze.
"Baby, what took you so long?" Matt said rubbing along the length of his cock.
Calhoun narrowed his eyes at his cousin who pretended not to have seen him.
"Get out!" Calhoun barked.
Matt raised his brow dramatically as if he had just seen Calhoun. "Cousin? You are back?" He stuttered.
Ariana felt like the ground should open and she should be taken down. She tried to get down from Calhoun's stronghold but he held her even tighter. He moved to the dressing table and placed her gently there, before walking back to the bed.
Matt was still moving sluggishly on the bed. Calhoun moved over to it and pulled him by the arm.
"Hey! Easy!" Matt complained but Calhoun wasn't listening. His eyes were red and his heart was thumping as his brain blocked out everything.
"Out!" Calhoun gritted.
Matt saw that Calhoun could as well murder if he didn't listen. He quickly picked up the pieces of his pyjamas he had purposefully thrown everywhere on the floor of the room. And then ran outside.
Calhoun sat on the bed and Ariana could see how his muscles tensed up in anger. She didn't even know what he was thinking. Was he perhaps thinking she had slept with Matt?
