As the entire Lawson Family was wondering where their golden boy was and if he was even going to come back kike he had promised, the front doors finally flew open.
Calhoun knew exactly how to make an entrance as if he had been waiting behind the door for them to stop talking. His god-like body strode in confidently, a large smirk playing on his handsome face like something was amusing him.

Calhoun's voice filled the room and like some true god, the whole place went even more silent than his presence had caused. Everyone turned their gaze to him. Some were happy, some were shocked, and some hated the fact that he had come back, to begin with.
Why couldn't he just stay wherever he was forever? —they wondered. But they were too late, the golden boy was truly home.
"Oh, my sweet boy," Grandmother said, jumping to her feet to pull him into her warm embrace. She was so happy tears of joy fell from her face. She tightened her arms around him, never wishing to let go. It's had been a long time since she set her eyes on her Precious grandson. "I missed you so much," she adds still embracing him warmly and never planning to let him be.
The expression on the faces of others changes from jealousy to complete hatred. But like the cruel professionals that they are, they cover their hatred perfectly with large fake smiles.
"Grandma, I think you should break your hug now. I can't feel my lungs anymore," Calhoun joked. Being with his grandmother was always the sweetest of moments for him and he couldn't help but smile at the way she was holding him.
"You silly boy!" she exclaimed spanking gently in the shoulder.
Calhoun placed a perk on her forehead and she held his hands, leading him to his grandfather while everyone got on their feet to welcome the prince home.
"Calhoun, did you bring anything for me?" Rosa childishly asked.
Calhoun could never forget his little cousin, Rosa. He made it a point to remember to get her a lot of things whenever he returned home from his many travels. He got gifts for everyone except those he considered as enemies, his uncle Benson and his entire household, they hadn't grown the guts to attack him yet but he could read past their fake smiles and long handshakes.
"Calhoun, what did you get me!" Rosa whined following behind him.
"Do not worry your pretty head my little doll. The men are bringing your gifts for you," he said warmly but his eyes were cold as always. That scary expression was always on his face but Rosa have gotten used to it. Despite his scary aura she still considered him as a good cousin.
"Okay," she sang sweetly smiling at him.
Calhoun bowed his head to greet his grandfather who beamed at him from his position on the large couch.
"My boy!" He exclaimed and Calhoun bent on one knee to let his grandfather pat his shoulder. "I am happy you could make it your grandmother almost had my head!" He joked and everyone fell into laughter remembering how impatient grandmother had actually been.
Calhoun only smirked before rising to turn his gaze at the rest of the family members. He only smile at Aunt Bianca, who walked up to him and hugged him. She had really missed the boy after his last trip out of the state for business. He hadn't come back home for a good four years! She had stayed up most night wondering what might have happened to make him choose to stay away from home.
Although, he did pick up her calls whenever she called but Calhoun's voice was naturally so cold, she could never tell what exactly he was feeling through the calls. Seeing him today in person was indeed a thing of great joy in the family.
"I have missed you," aunt Bianca whispered softly to his ears
He chuckled, pulling her closer, "I missed you to aunt."
Calhoun left aunt Bianca's embrace and decided to greet every other person in the room. His eyes searched for someone else, one of his favorite family members, his aunt Elsie. She wasn't around. Though she wasn't the only one missing, she was the only one he wanted to see. The other missing person was aunt Bianca:s husband. The man was always going from one business trip to another, grandmother thought the man was married to his business and not their daughter.
Calhoun searched around the crowd for his aunt Elsie, but she wasn't there.
Where was she?
He couldn't break the news without her. She was such a fun person to be around, he was looking forward to the drama she would make out of his news.
"Now that you're back after all these years, we can now celebrate your birthday!" Grandfather said, clasping his hands in excitement.
"Uh?" Calhoun exclaimed turning to his grandfather.
"Yes, son. We missed your birthday celebration so it's will be good to celebrate it with all the family members present," His grandmother added, still clutching his hands like he would disappear if she lets go.
"Sure, whatever makes you happy grandmother," Calhoun said patting her hands.
They all headed to the dining room, where a table filled with lovely and exclusive meals was laid so deliciously, waiting to be fed on. There were maids positioned by each side of the chair, each waiting to attend to the members of the family.
Lily stared at the boy with hatred in her eyes. The way Grandmother was clingy to him could make her puke. She was all over Calhoun like he was the only grandson they had.
What rubbish! She hissed.
Calhoun, who easily caught people's emotional aura, gazed at her, she pretended to smile at him but Calhoun was not a man to play games with.
"Lily, I see you don't want to see me here. Is that why your gaze can't wash off my body?" He said, a wicked smirk on his lips. He knew his outburst was going to cause the entire family to rile up at her and he couldn't wait for it to happen.
Lily quickly answered before all eyes fall on her. "What nonsense are you saying, child! I'm happy you're finally back after all this while, now tell us about your trip?"
Calhoun knew exactly what she was doing and all of a sudden he was interested in her little games. He wanted to see how far she can go with it without breaking character.
"It was good," he said as he dipped his fork into his grandmother's plate, purposefully watching Lily's reaction.
"That's good to know," Mr. Benson added releasing an awkward laugh.
Why couldn't they be successful in their company just like him? They were just as lazy as lizards while a little boy like Calhoun was making billions every day!
"What about the business I heard your sales are the numbers one on the billboard Marketing?" he asked narrowing his eyes at his disappointment of sons.
Calhoun flashed him his signatory evil smirk but before Calhoun could say a word, grandfather interrupts him, saving Benson from the reply of a lifetime.
"Calhoun, I have something for you. But that will be after we are done eating," Grandfather said with a smile so tender it made Calhoun's smirk grow soft.
"Okay," Calhoun simply said, enjoying his meal.
The others were already aware of what their grandfather wanted to gift to him. If it wasn't a house, it would a car. He may even go as far as buying him the most expensive clothing. They treated him like a prince, spoiling him with expensive gifts for his birthday each year.
Calhoun watched from the corner of his eyes how everyone filled themselves with the delicious food.

He needed them to eat and stuff themselves enough for the news he wanted to break to them was going to take their breath away. Only one person was missing and that bothered him. Should he wait for her? Or just go on with the rest of the family?
Calhoun didn't have to think for too long as the dining doors opened and the bitch he had been searching for waltzed in.
