Funbi came out from the corridor of her office and going to the CEO’s office. She was wearing a short gown, with jacket and wearing a small heel shoes; she was looking calm and just keeps walking. She got there after few minutes, knocked at the door for the first time and entered into the office.
Somia looked up as she saw that it was Funbi and she knocked before entering, she was looking at her as she was coming to her table and stopped working on the laptop.
“Good morning Somia” Funbi greeted as she was standing beside table.
“Oh! Morning” Somia said with low voice. Somia’s personal assistant didn’t even raise his head up just keeps pressing the laptop.
“Somia, I am here to see you and I will want us to talk outside” Funbi said with low voice.
“It will good to say it here, because I am busy and as you can see” Somia said.
“I know that you are, but please let’s say it outside” Funbi said with cool voice, and Somia looked at her.
“Okay! Give me some minutes” Somia replied.
“No problems at all, meet me at the reception when you are done”
“And thank you!” Funbi said with low voice and going out. Somia was looking at her as she was going out and so surprised as Funbi was calm and talking gently.
Somia continued working on the laptop as the door closed and continued with what she and her assistant were doing before Funbi knocked.
Her phone started ringing after few minutes and it was Semirat that was calling her; she took the phone on the table and picked the call.
“Hello girl!” Somia said as she picked the call.
“Hi! I want to say that Funbi just left my office now, and she said that she wants to talk to me. So I called you to tell you first before going” Semirat said.
“She came here as well and just left few minutes ago” Somia said.
“I think she wants to see us together” Somia said.
“Oh! Do you know what she want to say? She looks cool so I don’t think she wants to cause trouble” Semirat said.
“I don’t know what she wants to say oh. Even let’s go now, I will be leaving the office now and you too leave now so that we can get there together” Somia said and got up.
“Alright! Let’s go” Semirat said and hanged up from the call. Somia adjusted her cloth and going out; Sound of the door opened and closed.
Somia and Semirat got to the reception at the same time and from different directions, they saw Funbi at a corner and walking closer to them. Somia and Semirat were standing beside each other and looking at her coming to them.
“Thank you guys for being here” Funbi said but none of them said anything just looking at her.
“I called you here to apology to you guys, especially you Somia” Somia and Semirat looked at each other.
“Yes! I know I have done wrong to you, and since you have joined this company I showed you nothing but hatred and fights” She said with low voice.
“All what I am doing is for friendship. You ran way on the day of the interview and still it’s you that Ashar chosen, you didn’t resume and he told us to take his car to your house and picked you which had never happened before. So this is when I known that he likes you, but being my friend’s boyfriend this is why I dislike you for no reason and trying to fight for my friend since she is not here to know what is going on”
“I turned myself to a fighting angel for Iqmat. Without know that she is just pretending, she has never loves Ashar just deceiving us. I made a big mistake of my life; it’s a very big mistake. I am just trying to protect what my friend likes without know that she is just pretending. Iqmat is just pretending!” She said with loud voice and with sad voice.
“Calm down. Take a breath in and out, okay!” Semirat and Somia said in chorused as they saw that she was really angry and sad.
“I just want to say that I am sorry for my act, I am so sorry” She said with low voice.
“It’s fine! We can understand and no problem at all” Semirat said.
“You are a good friend, and you acted as a good friend to Iqmat. Don’t let that destroy your friendship, and she too may have her reason for that. You acted as a good friend, and don’t let me lie I too can do that for Semirat even more than that” Somia said and Semirat looked at her with a smile.
“So apology accepted no problem at all” Somia said and smiled.
“Ah! Thank you!” Funbi hugged Semirat and Somia together and she was so happy.
“You are welcome!” Semirat and Somia said in chorused as they were hugging her.
“Can we girls hangout after work?” Funbi asked.
“Yes! No problem” Somia said with smile.
“Thank you!” Funbi shouted and she was so happy.

Somia had returned back to her office, and it had been more than one hour after that. Somia was going through some documents that was submitted by LIL company when her phone started ringing, and it was the laundry man that was calling.
“Hello!” Somia said with low voice.
“Your Uncle has arrived to the Company, and he will be in your office in short time. So be expecting him” The man said, and he was sitting inside the car.
“Alright, thank you” Somia hanged up from the call and put the phone down.
Few minutes later, Somia’s uncle and his head of the boys called Strong got to the CEO office and knocking at the door. Somia’s assistant opened the door, stepped back and allowing them in. Strong stayed at the door as the door closed, and Somia’s uncle walked inside.
Somia was standing behind the chair and facing the Window, so her uncle didn’t know who was standing. Somia’s assistant offered him a seat and standing beside him.
“Hi Uncle!” Somia said, and turned back to the chair.
“It’s you Somia!” Her uncle said and so surprised.
“It has been a while we seen, but we saw your hand work recently but thank God not that bad” Somia said with smile and sat down on the chair.
“It’s you Somia that want to see me, and you are the CEO’s representative that they said” His uncle said.
“Well, as you can see” Somia said as she was rolling a pen with her right figures.
“Your director said you won’t have time to come, but my Uncle that I know he loves money than anything. And here you are” Her uncle looked at her.
“Why did you call me here? I am a busy person and I have a lot of places to go to” Somia’s uncle said with loud voice; Somia looked at him with a look and dropped the pen on the table and at the front of her uncle that he had to shift back a little.
“What I called you for is simple and easy” Somia said.
“You want the five hundred trillion naira contract right? And I know you are ready to do anything to get it” Her Uncle looked at her.
“Right now, my father’s properties is in your hand and also the contract is in my own hand too” Somia smiled and changed her look suddenly.
“If you want the contract, release my father’s properties in your hand. And if you know you may not, the ball is in your court Sir” Somia said.
“The contract is a very huge amount you know, and no Company will want to lose that” Somia giggles and her Uncle looked at her.
“Do you want to be using this contract to threaten me now so that you can get back the properties” Her Uncle said with low voice.
“Not at all, just that the choice is yours. Choose the one that is important to you Sir, but don’t forget we are talking about huge amount of contract here” Somia said with smile.
“Having the opportunity to be putting me under this condition is because you are sitting on that chair, and I know what to do”
“For real, Hmm! That is my uncle” Somia said and laughed loudly.
“I will take my leave now, and I will get back to you” Somia’s uncle said and got up, he just took a step when Somia spoke.
“Be careful uncle, any action this time may go wrong” He looked at Somia as she said so and going out. Sound of the door opened and closed.
Somia was looking with a kind of look on her face and smiling. Her assistant walked closed to her, and sat down on the chair.
“Ma! I don’t understand again, I don’t even get it again” He said with loud voice.
“And what is that?” Somia asked with low voice and looking at him.
“You told your Uncle now that if he wants the contract, he should do something and you have also promised your father’s friend whom is the founder of LIL Company that he is one you will give the contract to. And also it’s on these two companies that we are working on, I want to know what is really going on. Who is this contract going to?” The boy asked with loud voice.
“Let me know ma, and you don’t say maybe you want to divide it. Please let it clear” Somia changed her look and smiled.
“This is a game; let me play it the way I know that I will win”
“Game, five hundred trillion naira contract as a game!” The guy said and breathes out.
