I always tried to miss my daily workouts as little as possible, and so, putting on my sports uniform, I went out to do a few laps around the park.
I didn't want Silver to think that I had left her alone in the apartment when she woke up, so I left a note stating the reason for my absence. Today I decided to finish my workout earlier than usual, and after completing a set of basic exercises, I returned home a little earlier.
The enticing smell of fried bacon and baked potatoes wafted into the hallway. Apparently, my guest had already woken up. I hurried to the kitchen. Silver was quickly preparing breakfast. She had put her hair in a casual bun and had thrown only my shirt over her body. She did everything so quickly and easily, as if this was not the first morning at my house. I watched her with admiration.
Noticing me, she smiled radiantly, "Breakfast is almost ready, but you still have to wait a little longer."
"No problem, I'll go take a shower in the meantime. Mmm, I'm so hungry. The smell is simply fantastic."
"In that case, you should hurry."
Less than twenty minutes had passed since I was wolfing down a divine breakfast at the table.
"Mmm, this is very tasty," I gave a sincere compliment. "Honestly, I didn't expect that you could cook so well."
"Did you think that since I'm a rich person and a Gotham socialite, I'm not used to cooking myself?"

"It's great, I think everyone should have a hobby that helps distract themselves from tormenting thoughts," I voiced my opinion when my gaze fell on an open book nearby. "Have you started reading Pride and Prejudice?"
"Yes, while cooking, I read quite a bit to fill the waiting time."
Judging by the number of the open page, not so much.
"Well, what is your initial opinion?"
"Honestly? I'm not sure yet ... But I must admit that the beginning is quite interesting, only there is one character that I don't like at all." Silver snorted, looking irritated.
"And who, if I may ask?"
"Isn't it clear? It's this Mr. Darcy, such an arrogant and self-absorbed character. I didn't like him from the very first lines." the girl expressed her indignation.
"Do you really not like the main character at all?"
"What? Main character? This Darcy?!"I thought Bingley was the main character," the shocked Silver said.
Yes, this book will bring her more than one surprise. I remember how in my past world, everyone was deeply impressed by Darcy's actions, because of which he was called the standard of a reliable spouse, ohh, I'm really waiting for the fun time.
"Ha-ha-ha ... I look forward to the moment when you finish reading this novel. I will be incredibly interested to know if your opinion about Mr. Darcy will change. Perhaps later, you will consider him the ideal of a man."
"Are you laughing at me now? This guy? An ideal man? Hm, now you intrigue me even more, I will finish this book as soon as possible," Silver informed me. "By the way, what are you planning to do today?"
"I will prepare a plan for revenge Norwood," I said with undisguised anger, and told her about this conflict.

"No, you don't understand, I'm not going to take the first-magnitude stars away from him, I'm targeting the second-, no, even third-magnitude stars. The ones Norwood has long forgotten, the ones who didn't bring his studio enough profit. What will happen if I take such unknown individuals into my fold and make them world-famous artists. I voiced my insidious plan of revenge.
Guys, I made some changes to the first 5 chapter, not so much that it will impact the story but enough that you can read them without cringing. Like how MC was behaving in the start, I think I corrected that.
