"You suggested it yourself, don't complain later that I emptied your wallet," smiling sarcastically, she ordered a bottle of wine and the most expensive whiskey. I limited myself to peach juice and a couple of light dishes.
"Hey, I don't get it, should I drown in alcohol alone?"
"I don't drink alcohol, sorry. But I'm ready to listen to you and support you morally."
"Tch, what a friend," Renee tsked, making an offended grimace. But she didn't get to sulk for long, because soon they brought us our order, and after a couple of glasses of whiskey, drunk together with wine, Detective Montoya cheerfully continued the conversation.
"Ha-ha, so you want to raise these two to world superstars and rub it in Norwood's face?"the girl gloated, her cheeks flushed from the alcohol she had drunk.
