Alexa's POV
Felix was fuming with anger in front of me.
"Why the fuck didn't you tell me sooner?!" He yelled.
At me.
"I didn't want you to think of me as a burden." I whispered.
Yeah, I told him about Jackson.
His eyes softened as he looked at me. He held my arm and turned me towards him. I looked down, afraid to look at him. He cupped my face in his hands, making me look up in his eyes.
"You're not a burden, baby. You make me happy and I want you to be safe and trust me as much as I trust you, okay? Next time he does something like this, you'll tell me right?" I nodded. He kissed my forehead and leaned down to kiss my lips but pulled back as our parents came in, laughing.
"Hey Felix." I called him. He hummed looking at me. "I like you too." I blushed. His smile was now replaced by a grin and smirk.
"I knew." He smirked.
"You knew?"
"Yeah. I'm pretty irresistible guy, you see? Everyone likes me. Some even love me, wanna try?"
"Try what?" I asked.
"Falling in love with me." He answered, raising his eyebrows playfully. I giggled.
"Some day, maybe."
"Let's go now, shall we, Lexi?" Dad called. Felix looked a bit sad but he then smiled for me.
"Sure."

Next day when I reached the school, I was earlier than usual. Felix being as usual late, hadn't even come yet. While waiting for him, I saw the girl that helped me in the washroom.
Emily.
"Hey." I greeted her. Seeing me, she smiled.
"Hi Lexi. How's your hand?" She asked.
"Much better than before. Thanks for yesterday." I smiled at her great fully.
"It's nothing, really." She smiled. As I opened my mouth to say something, I saw Felix coming in with his arm draped around a guy's shoulder.
The guy was pretty good looking too.
But Felix is much better.
He smiled looking at me and walked near me.
"Oh Cupcake, I missed you so much." He hugged me and mumbled in my neck. Emily looked at us in shock.
Who am I kidding? I myself was shocked with his behavior.
"Anyways, this is Mike, my cousin." He said, patting that guy's back. Mike chuckled and nodded towards me. I smiled back. When his gaze landed on Emily, they both froze. "And who is she?"
"Um..she's Emily, my friend." They both snapped out of there daze and looked at me.
"I'm glad you made friends." Felix said, making me smile. Emily turned to me and smiled, scratching her forehead as if she's thinking something.
"Um...Lexi, I gotta run. See you after school, yeah?" She said but before I could reply, she had ran away.
Weird.
I looked at Mike and his eyes held a glint of guilt as he looked at Emily's disappearing figure.
I sense something fishy going on here.

It was now after school. Felix had promised me that he is gonna wait at the gates for me.
Just saying his name forms a blush on my cheeks.
Smiling, I walked out of the classroom, gathering my things. I walked to the lockers. Just when I was about open it, a hand covered my mouth.
And I knew it wasn't Felix.
Before I knew, I was getting pulled in some room. When I saw the person in front of me, my whole body shivered with fright.
Jackson was smirking in front of me.
"You have been smiling a lot lately, haven't you?" He asked with a creepy smile.
"Let me go, Jackson." I said, trying to sound confident. He chuckled.
"Now, princess, where's fun in that, huh? Since I have you here and even your little boyfriend is no longer near you, I might even have some fun with you, yeah?" He said.
"No, please don't. Please." I begged.
Tears rolled down my cheeks and I started to cry. His lips came to mine. I quickly turned my head to a side, resulting a sloppy kiss on my cheek. His smirk turned into an angry scowl as he held my jaw, harshly.
"You bitch!" He jerked my face. I whimpered and he smirked again. Before I knew, he had buried his face in my neck and he started biting and kissing it.
"Please! Jackson, stop!" I tried to push him away but everything was of no use.
Satisfied with his work, he moved back and left the room. I fell to the ground and started to sob.
I have never felt this disgusted with myself.
The door opened again and I heard a gasp.
"Holy shit! Lexi, are you okay?" I heard Emily say. I shook my head. She took me in her arms. "I'm so sorry, Lexi. I saw him walking out of the room so I decided to come here. I should have known. I should have waited for you after school." She said.
She opened my backpack and pulled out my phone, calling someone.
The door opened with a loud bang again and within seconds, I was swept off my feet into someone's arms.
Felix's arms.
"Oh Alexa. I'm so sorry. I'm so fucking sorry." He said while soothing me and rubbing my back.
"I will leave you two alone for a bit." Emily said and walked out.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and calmed down. I pulled back a few minutes later and sniffed. He wiped my tears and looked at me with guilt in his eyes.
His eyes had almost watered.
"I'm sorry, baby." He whispered, caressing my cheek. I shook my head.
"It's not your fault, Felix." I tell him. He just looked down at the ground. Seeing him caring for me, I felt....
Loved.
I grabbed his collar and smashed his lips on mine. I know I took him by surprise, even I'm surprised with my actions, but he didn't hesitate to kiss me back.
When we pulled back, we both were out of breath. He kissed my forehead before helping me up. He then pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and tied it around my neck when a mark was formed because of Jackson.
"Let's get you home first." He said in a whisper.
